Going down the rabbit hole of the political beliefs of your favorite athletes* is not a place you want to go. Keep in mind the coaches who are influencing these young men and the military-esk expectations in locker rooms. *the women athletes on the other hand are great.
Many times, unfortunately. Especially on QBs. Lawrence, Rosen, Haskins, etc. luckily I nailed this one
Tim Ballard is serial liar and is himself very likely an international child trafficker. Plus, actual human trafficking NGOs have said before that him and this movie do more harm than good for the cause of ending human trafficking. the NGOs do real work while he chases glory and media attention.
I'm just generally really over hearing about the entire concept of human trafficking. Not that it doesn't happen but like, it's like when everyone was doing the ice bucket challenge for something where new cases in the U.S. are like 5,000 in any given year. It's not that it isn't horrible but it's sort of a distraction from much larger issues.
Like, child trafficking is just a little more real than the satanic panic and it's the same types of people who are balls deep in it that were into that
That wasn’t really a Hail Mary since he was throwing towards the obly guy downfield. Not like he threw it 20 yards short of everyone.
You should probably see a doctor if you spend your free time thinking about a week 1 end-of-first-half hail marry attempt from a team you are "not invested" in.
if Mac leads a comeback win here it's time for Bro to take the L and move on to arguing with the Oregon posters about Herbert instead
Now that bama fans have nothing to root for or celebrate their half ass trolling in here to insist tua is good is going to be kicked into overdrive
tua was incredible today. has to be his best game ever. he floated a few balls in the first half (one was picked) but threw really well on the run and put some balls in spots that only his WRs could get. he will win MVP if he stays healthy and plays like that all year (though i guess the 17-game projection sort of makes that obvious).
Gonna be great when this all comes back around again because in like week 7 Tua will throw one underthrown pass and Herbert will have his “one big fucking throw” of the season and it will be a news cycle topic for another week.
He had a 469 yard game with 6 TD last year. That'll be hard to top. But yea when he's on one, he's incredible, and he as on one today. That offense is fun. Good play caller and weapons to work with.
Dolphins are so fun to watch (animals and football team) and I hope to seem them in person one day (again, both)
Whenever the Herbert v Tua thing comes up I think of the Miami newspaper guy Omar Kelly (?) making an analogy during the ‘21 season for why Tua is better in which he said he’d slept with so many beautiful women in his life, but his wife was ugly. Just so committed to the cause!
