Pretty excited for the album tomorrow, I’ve really liked the four songs they’ve released thus far. Dave said they channeled old Foo Fighters on it. This song with his daughter (who’s got some chops) feels like something off of There Is Nothing Left To Lose.
I've thought the last few albums were pretty uninspired for the songs I heard. I think Wasting Light is one of their best but it's been real hit and miss (mostly miss) since. Hopefully they can rekindle early days magic but they're aging rock stars so I don't have high hopes.
Agreed with everything above. Listening through for the second time now, and this is definitely their most inspired music is a really long time.
Really enjoy the new album. The transition from The Teacher to Rest is haunting. Also the song he does with his daughter (Show Me How) might be my favorite song on the album.
finally saw foo fighters for the first time at ACL a few months ago. incredible i was really drunk so that helped but i had a blast
I've seen them 3 times. Grohl is so charismatic and fun. The only band I've seen that I would say puts on a better show is U2.
