I know he was an icon for people in our generation, but will that stand the test of time without him being formally recognized for his greatness? Both Jim Thorpe and Deion Sanders are in the pro football hall of fame. I know Bo's injury cut his career short, but he was an outstanding player in his short time. Or will his legend live on even without being in the hall?
