I make it a point not to preorder anymore from anyone just because of how shitty it makes the gaming industry
I have noticed there has been a lack of advertising for the Witcher. They plugged the hell out of Skyrim. I wonder whats up.
Because CD Projek Red isn't a Triple A title company they are a very underrated and refuse to be bought by large companies like EA and Activision
I'm taking the easy route and working on Grim Fandango and Abe's Odyssey before I dive into a game that will take over my gaming life for a long time.
I said I would not buy an X Box 1 until The Witcher came out. Looks like it's time for me to make a purchase.

Want to play really bad but I might delay getting it until the Fall because I actually want to get some stuff done the next couple months.
Apparently some retailers released the game early in some foreign countries and were streaming on Twitch and YouTube, so CPR has been trying to pull vids and Twitch released a warning that if you stream the Witcher 3 before 19th you will be banned.
Doing something I never do and actually going to Midnight release next Monday night. Can't fucking wait
I still have a GoG code to sell if you don't care about not having it on Steam and want to get it really cheap.
yeah, went to /b for the first time in years looking for some Osama streams the day that happened. found some xbox ones. game looks amazing but I wanted some western streams from youtubers because I have no patience with these faggots holding things back from me anymore. Hbo should stream GOT like netflix and CDPR should release the Witcher for download atleast as soon as it got shipped to stores.
You will not be disappoint but prepare for some rage they aren't very easy or hand holdy games. Explore everything there are side quests everywhere.
A plan to go hardest mode if they let me save. Have they said if that last setting is permadeath like witcher 2? Anyone have a decent writeup of the differences in the 3rd and 4th difficulties?
Beat both The Witcher games on hard I tried to do Dark on The Witcher 2 and got halfway before I died and had to start over on hard. I lost 25 hours of gameplay with the Witcher 3 you would lose possibility of hundreds of hours. I might try it after I beat it on Hard amd find everything. The AI in The Witcher is scary smart they will won't let you breathe if they have the advantage and you have to use everything your skills, signs, potions, weapons, and just plain luck to survive in Dark mode.
Yeah, I got the Witcher 2 on hard a couple times but never tried the permadeath b cause fuck never having a save. Dark souls was the perfect way to manage saves
Just started act 3 on another TW2 playthrough. I'm fully hyped for Tuesday after that cinematic trailer
Plus the witcher 2 had a couple bugged fights that were impossibly hard when it first came out. I heard they fixed them but it took me a ton of tries at the one fight right after a bridge or something.
I guess they did. Don't think I played until after it was a year old or so and didn't notice any bugs really
Is this a mixture of the first and 2nd one in 5 minutes or just the original one? Playing the 2nd one currently.
First 2 mins is the 1st one once they start talking about the other Witcher from the opening cutscene From 2 shut it off. I'll see if I can find the previously one the did before two came out.
Release dates are a little blurry when you’re facing a hefty download, so what you may want to know about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [official site] is: can I preload it? And: if so, when? Also: when does that unlock? You inquisitive little thing, you. Developers CD Projekt RED have cleared up the questions I forced into your mouth by prying your jaws open with my hands, my knee pressed into your chest, and shouting them down your throat. The Witcher 3 preloads are now live on GOG and Steam, and will start on Origin on Thursday. As for when it’ll unlock, I’ll tell you. Preloads will unlock on May 19th at 1am CET, and here’s a list from RED on what that means in other time zones: May 18th, 4.00 pm PT (Los Angeles) May 18th, 7.00 pm ET (New York) May 19th, 00.00 am BT (London) May 19th, 2.00 am UT (Moscow) May 19th, 8.00 am JT (Tokyo) Steam does preloading in its usual way, while GOG can preload either through the website with downloads split into 4GB chunks (24.5GB in all) or the new beta GOG Galaxy client. Until the game does come out, though, it’s being cracked down on. Folks who livestreamed through Twitch a leaked version wound up banned. But mercy me, I can’t think of a game I’m more keen to get out and start exploring in; even as someone who does watch a fair bit of Twitch and whatnot, I certainly don’t want to have that spoiled.
