Im doing the quest for kiera in velen. Which is a fuckin great quest. The banter between the two characters and the the quest thread in the cave when you fight a golem, then a gargoyle followed by the wild hunt knight us just stupid fun.
Beat the game. Wandering around wondering how to start NG+ realized you have to download it. Grabbed hearts of stone while I was at it. The path continues.
Haven't played Witcher in months, got back to my lvl 56 NG+ and remembered how amazing this game is. Bought the season pass, Blood and Wine is gonna be ridiculous.
Pretty jealous right now. It's really great. I saw where blood and wine will be out sometime in late may/early june. Should line up well for you.
Do I need to do NG+ to do Blood and Wine? I'd really rather not. I did Hearts of Stone right off the conclusion of my regular game play through. I need this to come out in winter so I don't lock myself away during the summer lol
HoS had an option to start a new game right at the beginning with a leveled up character. I assume that they will do the same for the new expansion.
good lord that looks gorgeous guess we'll finally get to play those enemies people always mention but you never saw
Agreed one of the best games I've ever played. The first expansion pack was great as well. I'm looking forward to Blood and Wine more than any game being released this spring or summer too
Ive been playing games with gold shit for 3 wks and not picking up fallout 4 until i explore and beat every damn thing in the expansion
I have been debating buying this... What's the general consensus on it? There's no PvP right? That might keep me away.
It's only $25 on PS4 right now. I'm about an hour into it and still adjusting to the controls and mechanics, but it seems entertaining so far.
Still haven't beat the base game even though I bought it day one. Picked it back up before the 2nd dlc and my playthrough is finally moving great. I really like the UI changes they made. Being able to filter and collapse sub menus makes everything much cleaner. Beat the Kaer Morren (sp) battle Monday and had a blast. Really want to power through and savor everything in this game.
The best thing is having that prompt to read the note or book you picked up immediately, instead of having to sift through your inventory having forgotten the name of it; so frustrating. I unwisely decked out Corvo Bianco before I realized how expensive Grandmaster gear is, at least Roach's stable is big pimpin'.
Did anyone win the tourney? I failed the horse race at the 7th checkpoint, could never time hitting targets with sword right. Won the battle and marksmanship though. This DLC is lightyears better then the last one. Just got done with the side quest of the guy who stole the statues testicles. Pretty great stuff. Gonna save the Gwent tourney for last. Fucked up on the original one first go around.
forgot how fucking badass my IRIS sword is that charges up and my grandmaster crafted silver sword and my offieri light armor with "retribution" relics (30% change of deflecting damage back onto the enemy) first scene of blood and wine holding down X for the light attack and doin the spinny/whirl thing and just hackin arms and legs off like im fucking colonel sanders
