Creighton got a decent little squad led by Lauren Jensen tbh They got worked over pretty good by Ayoka Lee and EMAW yesterday though. No shame in that though
Yeah they lost to South Dakota State too I think. They’ve been solid the past few years though. Screw em though
Raegan Beers will also be in the race and whatever player out of SC and if we are looking outside of the contenders, Taliah Scott out of Auburn is a dark horse candidate League is so deep
Indiana loses to a tough Harvard team in IT and gets beat pretty well by Butler but ends up beating a good Stanford team by 10+ womens college ball y’all
Really wish I could root for HVL and TCU a bit more but having the Miles Bridges of Womens CBB on their team is a rough look
Wow the Caitlin stans abandoned Iowa fairly quickly Really interesting data from Sports Media Watch — and shows the viewership power of Caitlin Clark: ESPN2 averaged 209,000 viewers for last Sunday’s Virginia Tech-Iowa WBB game. Iowa’s first ESPN network game last season was also against Virginia Tech on ESPN 2. What did it do? 583,000 viewers.
I have that. They offered it for free this year. It’s only 90 a year I will see this year if it is worth it
Going for a record tonight at Clemson A win tonight would be South Carolina’s 43rd consecutive (beginning Nov. 6, 2024), breaking the program record for winning streak. It would be the seventh-best mark in NCAA Div. I history. The Gamecocks’ first 42-game streak ran March 18, 2022, through March 27, 2023. South Carolina is just the second program in NCAA history with multiple 40-game win streaks
Feels like this is the 3rd or 4th season in a row they lose a starter to a non contact injury in the first few weeks of the season. She was playing well too, averaging like 15 and 7. Hopefully Markowski and Prince can carry the load.
We’ve gotta drop one eventually. Not scared to face those teams though. Our depth is cray and we have offense + defense
Would be nice to have a Kansas/Iowa and Oregon/Auburn doubleheader instead of watching Minnesota/Wisconsin volleyball on the main channel

this ISU-UNI game on ESPN+ is superb so far Emily Ryan and Addy Brown are just as good as my girl Audi
she hasn’t had to play as much so far. Kennedy Taylor was a good pickup and Imani Lester has improved a lot to take pressure off her. she’s definitely an old woman at this point
Iowa State getting upset by UNI and a 35+ pt perfornance by Maya McDermott and very impressive 3pt shooting by UNI and a very poor shooting performance by Audi Crooks and a lackluster 2nd half by ISU
Oregon might have something in the backcourt with Peyton Scott and Deja Kelly but Phillipina Kyei tho
Congrats Geno. Dawn is 54 and closing in on 800 wins. Maybe she can catch him. 11 NCs will be tough to equal
The only thing possibly hurting Dawn is the fact that more and more programs are finally investing in WBB so theres a lot more parity than back in the day with Pat/Tara/Geno
This weekend ND @ Southern Cal - I want to see Hannah/Olivia/Sonia attack the hell out of Juju/Kennedy/Talia the same way that Ole Miss did in game 1. Just get them out of sorts and let Juju make her usual turnovers. On the otherhand, I hope Liatu King is healthy because I don’t know who else can guard Kiki for ND. USC @ UCLA - This matchup is gonna feed me for Thanksgiving to be honest. UCLA is one of the only teams in WBB that can legitimate matchup against USC size and length wise and give them issues. Whether that is Lauren Betts taking over the Kamilla role or the trio of Timea Gardiner, Angela Dugalic, or Janiah Barker. All 3 can guard pretty much anywhere on the court and have scored pretty well so far this season. This is the game that should wake up Paopao, Fulwiley, and the Johnsons. Just your typical Final 4 test by Dawn Staley.
