This is not really the time, but with only the Dance left to play, I can't help but think about what our line-up will look like next year with no Feagin, Hall, or Pao Pao. Assuming we continue to start three guards: Kitts Edwards Johnson Johnson Fulwiley Is my best guess We could really benefit from one of the 6'5" girls elevating their play, otherwise the post looks thin next year, particularly if Watkins doesn't come back 100%
Best thing about this USC-UCLA rivalry is we get most everyone back next season AND add Jazzy and Sienna to the mix
will be interesting to see who gets that 4th #1 seed after South Carolina, UCLA, and USC I feel like its between UConn, TCU, and Texas
Montana upset Northern Arizona last night to face rival Montana State in the finals today (Montana State should win easily) Also Wyoming faces San Diego State in the MWC Finals today as well for your Rabbit Angstrom update
Oregon State beating Portland is a pretty big upset for the WCC and the Beavers getting a tourney bid after losing everybody duc15 Can’t wait for the Ivy League three team tourney later this week between Columbia/Princeton/Harvard could see some bid stealers there
Paige Bueckers Juju Watkins Sarah Strong Aneesah Morrow Lauren Betts it was tough deciding between Booker and Strong tbh, would have liked one of them at the 4 instead of Aneesah only other tough decision was Olivia or Paige
feel bad for the NAU women because they go 25-6 (16-2 Big Sky) in the regular season and don't even get a share of the league title and couldn't get to the tournament final. Still a wonderful season. This is my own research so maybe I'm wrong but three consecutive seasons hitting the 20-win mark, that's never happened. Three times in the history of the women's program they've had 20-loss seasons in three straight seasons. But never three straight 20-win seasons next year should be great. Sophie Glancey and Taylor Feldman back as seniors. Believe those two and league MVP Esmeralda Morales from Montana St were the only unanimous first team All-Conference picks and Morales is graduating. Next year is the year. Would like to see us be a little more active in the portal but can't argue with Loree Payne's track record of developing HS kids she recruits I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen Payne yell at one of her players. She'll get on refs, but she's so upbeat/positive when communicating with her team, she's perfect for this era. Would guess she'd be in line for a Mountain West gig at some point down the road and I see Montana St appears to have beaten Montana at the buzzer. Heck of a year for the Bobcats
