    I'm pretty excited about it. Women's soccer is about the only women's sport besides the Olympics that I actually enjoy watching.

    I like any event that pits 'Merica versus other countries around the world, especially in soccer.

    Ironically enough, re-creating the Washington Crossing the Delaware picture today at the White Water Center here in the Charlotte area.

    Anyone know anything about our group? Australia, Sweden and Nigeria?

    Same. Quality of womens game is completely watchable. Cant say that about any other sport, really. Maybe bowling.

    You know how the men had that dreading group of death thing? Yea....women too. All 3 of those countries are arguably best in their federation. Sweden is top 5 for sure. Sweden has our old coach Pia.

    I'll be at the Nigeria game.

    Yeah WWC is by far the best women's sporting event. Volleyball is pretty watchable too.

    Well now that I know there's more interest I'll update the op with the schedule when not on my phone.

    Also this tournament should be good since more and more countries are becoming better. It's not just USA and one or two others. Rest of the world caught up.

    ESPN is pissed as fuck about 2026 especially since Fox got it for free as a make-good from FIFA for moving 2022 to the Winter (competing with football season).

    Fox didn't get it for free, they just didn't have to bid against anybody else. Basically it was done t appease Fox for the 2022 Winter announcement.

    Ok - i thought they tacked it onto the deal. But they got it for the same rate? Honestly didnt look at the details too closely to see how they came up with the 2026 number.

    And also reminded early of the insane yellow card rule in world cups. Not resetting until after quarters is so dumb when it's only 2=suspension.

    I mean concacaf makes Atlanta lay down grass for the gold cup much less any chance in hell a WC would be played on it. I just dont understand it at all.
