Very “quordly” words in today’s Quordle.

I purposely wiffed on first guess to throw thread off

OR

after 2nd guess concluded word ended in ang, with letters available twang was all i could come up with. clang, wrang, etc wouldn't work

 

I want no weekday beef, salutations to you

 

So, without giving anything away for Friday's game, that little trick of ignoring the results from the first guess & trying a completely different word (well, mostly) has now paid off 3 out of 3 for me. Might be worth persisting with on the occasions when 1/6 comes up with little positive result.

Good thing it wasn’t caste.

 

I’ve been playing less lately and todays may be the start of a long break

 

I get sucked in like that a lot, but today I didn’t. After stare I knew I had 6 more _aste and each would only eliminate itself. My fear of a loss overrode my gambler instinct, so I did patch to eliminate 3 and ensure a win. Then I got lucky and got it in 3 on a 1/3 chance.

Seems to be a bit less interest on this site ATM, at least going by the responses on this thread.

I'm more than happy to keep playing Wordle and some of the associated games, but I can see how interest might dwindle.
