Spoiler took me until the last guess to realize that even if I had a letter in green, I could still play it elsewhere
Spoiler Double letters got me. I knew A was part of it, but I forgot there could be two A's. I was sitting there trying to work in U or some other vowel.
Spoiler i was having a really hard time thinking of a word that ended in AL, and I wasn't even sure letters could be repeated, but I gave that a shot
It was around that time I began to grasp the rules, and took a helluva guess/let my genius take over.
Also, while I respect the spoilers, can we just agree not to come into this thread until you've done the day's puzzle (and note as much in the title) rather than have every post in spoilers? Not like it takes that long to do them. Or I can just fuck off, whichever.
Spoiler also started with that word, but had "ROYAL" stuck in my head. Didn't think letters could be repeated, so I went with "GROIN" next to test as many letters as I could.
I swear mine was legitimate. i don't know why/how I gave that a shot and literally laughed out loud when all the letters turned green
I wish it would let you assign letters out of order for those times when you are nearly or absolutely certain which position a given letter is in.
I was trying to avoid using letters I knew weren’t in it. I hadn’t used F, I, or L yet. It left me with Q, J, Z, B, X, V, and M. Figured if I couldn’t solve it with only those letters outstanding, then I deserved to not get it.
