germany recently released their 27 man unit Goalkeepers: Hans-Jorg Butt, Manuel Neuer, Tim Wiese Defenders: Per Mertesacker, Heiko Westermann, Philipp Lahm, Jerome Boateng, Andrea Beck, Arne Friedrich, Serdar Tasci, Marcell Jansen, Holger Badstuber, Dennis Aogo. Midfielders: Michael Ballack, Sami Khedira, Piotr Trochowski, Marko Marin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Christian Trasch, Mesut Ozil, Toni Kroos. Forwards: Lukas Podolski, Miroslav Klose, Stefan Kiessling, Cacau, Thomas Muller, Mario Gomez so they need to cut 4 more awesome to see lowe embrace the youth and creative ability instead of staying with the old guard. ozil, kroos, and marin are gonna be great for a long time. cant wait to see what happens to the midfield in 2012 when ballack finally retires and stops clogging it. hopefully he plays more of a cdm role in south africa. this is a make it or break it tournament for gomez. either he becomes a good striker or he's the next kuranyi strengths - midfield, strikers (sorta, as long as poldy continues his trend of goat play for the national team), goaltending weaknesses - defense (kinda, lahm is great; mertesacker good, but unsure about the other two positions)

Re: in here we post skeptical rosters for world cup squads Rooney will be fine just in time to play us I'm assuming. Just saw that Gareth Barry is out 3-4 weeks so hopefully he won't play against us.
Re: in here we post skeptical rosters for world cup squads That may not be a good thing for us. I much rather have Barry playing in the middle than Milner who will probably coming in. Or they make move Gerrard back to Barry's spot and put Young on the left wing which is scary too considering our weakness at fullback.

Raymond Domenech once again shows he has no idea wht he is doing and leaves Karim Benzema off the 30 man roster. Atleast he didnt put vieira in the squad and its good to see a couple of Marseille players get a shot. Clichy, Gallas, Diaby and Sagna are included but Samir Nasri was also left off.
Re: World Cup Rosters Thread (England, Italy, Brazil, Uruguay, Portugal) The French are fucking dumb for letting Domenech fuck up another tournament. No Benzema and Nasri is absurd.
