Finally got my Skull of Guldan last night. Gear is looking pretty spicy for the current raid tier

 

I membered but also felt bad I IGNORED here

 

That’s where I am. 2700 something. Unfortunately I mained Boomkin instead of my Hunter, so I either Heal, or go Feral to finish the 20s on him or finish up the Hunter. Leaning toward the latter. Survival is blowing stuff up. Beat a 275 Fury WAR as a 261 Survival in a 15 yesterday.

 

yeah surv and destro are absolutely nuts in M+ rn

 

Sunwell Plateau has arrived

 

Will be curious to see much of a wall brutalus and muru are this time around

 

Well it was full cleared in under an hour. So not much of a wall for the real sweaties

I think Muru will be a pretty serious wall, but even mediocre guilds are putting out enough DPS to clear Brutallus. Everything is just so optimized now

 

lmao this rules. we were so bad at video games back in 2007

 

Hardware stuff is way different too. I remember my guild contemplating whether the threat meter or something like that was worth using because it made so many people's machines run like ass

 

The guild I left during Black Temple wiped 26 times on Kalecgos this lockout. 0/6

Idk how you even go back to Sunwell next week after that

 

seems bad. seems like a lot of folks on reddit were doing in under 10 pulls.

 

We one shot it. Brutallus is fucking insane though, got him on pull 11

 

it's very funny to see "insane" and "pull 11" in the same sentence. can't shake the memory of my roommate spending weeks and weeks prog'ing on each swp boss.

 

Idk how anyone cleared sunwell in original TBC. I've seen the vid of the world first Kiljaeden kill and the damage output and raid comp is stupid. No one knew anything back then

 

yeah i cleared bt/hyjal but my guild had zero interest in sunwell.

 

Hyjal is trash and I'd rather wipe on Kalecgos for 5 hours than go back there. BT owns though

 

i used to love doing those sunwell dailies when it first launched back during live

 

had totally checked out from wow. just saw that that classic is at sunwell and staring down wrath - i'm quickly mashing that subscribe button

 

haven't logged into any of my regular characters in like 4 years. it always feels like a homecoming of sorts

 

Guilds are cratering left and right over sunwell

 

this is the true TBC experience

 

Mine disbanded and we were 3/6 after one week. It's tough out here rn

This current phase of my life needs LFR though

 

I was so excited for the original classic release and the launch was so fucked that it kind of ruined it for me

 

Give wrath a try imo. Seems like everybody is taking a break so they can hop back in for wrath

 

wrath is my fav xpac. great storylines leveling up and the raids are all fun imo

 

The changes to warlocks are totally insane. Looking forward to demo finally being raid viable.

 

just give me the original iteration of death knights where i could blood strike for 40% of my hp every like 3 seconds

is that too much to ask

 

Mop was my favorite but idk if they'll go that far with the classic progression

Even after end of xpac tuning, monks were so good

I've got a demonology warlock slot reserved with my guild on Grobbulus

 

I say this every xpac but I’m cautiously optimistic for dragonflight.

 

Warlock tier set has me wanting to main one come 10.0

 

The tier sets all look pretty cool imo

 

Warlock tiers 2 and 5 have never been equaled aesthetically imo

 

Probably nostalgia but I think tier 5 and 6 for most classes are fantastic.

 

As a dad of 3…..that time will return eventually

lvling up a new toon is so remarkably different on live than it is on classic servers. though i'll say it's a lot of fun on live leveling up - all the diff content you can do rly makes it more entertaining

 

It's fun on classic, it's just a daunting time investment
