Got in on my Lock right at launch but had war mode on by accident and that made it hell with so many horde everywhere. Made my hearth in the first town then went back to Stormwind to change it. Took about an hour to get back in via the hearth but got back and leveled to 63. Like it so far.
I’ve been flying around getting all the dragon riding glyphs. Surprisingly fun IMO. Being able to fly and explore the entire map from minute zero is great.
Did the first two they allowed you to while leveling and liked them. Usually find out how much i like them the higher they scale in m+ though
I’m enjoying the new expansion. Just got to the main hub for Dragonflight and unloaded some crafted items and materials on the AH. Really trying to take advantage of a fresh market. At the end of Shadowlands, I installed an economy app ( TSM ) that tracks my in game finances. Went from having around 20k to almost 1.8 million from the middle of Season 3 til now. Would like to hit gold cap my buy my damn AH Mount. Playing my Mage and my alt is my Druid. Tailor / Enchanting and Herbs / Alchemy
TSM is good. I got scammed out of 2.3 million trying to buy the mythic raid mounts before the expac. Still waiting in blizz to answer my ticket and hopefully refund me.
i'm watching this guy play ret in bgs rn at 70 and he's getting absolutely smoked. lots of complaints about pvp in this xpac according to him
no clue i thought ret was decent during wolk. i used to run a ret/dk/arms trio and farm wsg and we won like 95% of our matches
It gets a huge boost in tier 10 with a set bonus. Right now it's a clown spec. Our ret is finishing like at best 12th in DPS and parsing 99s
It's a dad guild server. Our two raids are the top two speed clears on the server, only one other raid is within 10 minutes of our second raid.
Switched from balance to frost mage. dragon riding is pretty awesome. Level 65. Also use tsm. Think I have around 1.2 million mainly from Reddit.com/wow economy
Leveled balance, it felt weak as hell from like 67-70. It’s a bit better now that I’m at like 340-350 ilvl. I also don’t like the spec and have never bothered to learn it so that’s part of it too I’m sure
Oh I hate the rotation now. 3 dots, spam starfire, use starsurge. Feels so clunky to have to cast two wrath’s to get you starfire . It was better in beta when you could just cast what spell you wanted to get into eclipse.
Not enjoying Frost after playing Fire. Just not enough burst. Tried Arcane, but it doesn’t seem to click. Might just YOLO and play Fire anyway. It’s getting buffed on Tuesday.
yeah no clue what I’m doing. It’s very different than balance. I might try fire too. Not worried about being worlds first just want to be competent and easy roatstion as I don’t gar the APM like I used too
I much prefer Fire, but Frost is pretty easy to pick up. It feels great when you have your big CD, Icy Veins, running but is super sluggish otherwise. We’ll see how the Fire buffs Tuesday play out.
Joyous Journeys (50% exp buff) is returning to Wrath servers Stacks with heirlooms, WG buff, anything else that gives +exp Dec 13 - Jan 16
Dragonflight has been a good expansion so far. Feels like they’ve got back to some of the old design decisions that made wow feel fun.
when are they gonna release raids and beyond mythic0? bc i'm p much almost fully kitted in mythic gear now, with the exception of like 3-4 items and i don't have anything else i can run to get upgrades
M+ and the raid are released tmrw, even with all the dogshit systems of the last few expacs the raids have always shined through. So far the game feels great so hopefully the raid maintains the same quality
Having fun blasting on the mage. Just cleared Normal Vault. End boss is a blast. Really enjoying DragonFlight
I’ve done only a few M+ dungeons so far but I could not heal through an 11 on the first boss this week. Straight said “sorry can’t do it”. At least it was my key
So I bought retail again after barely playing shadowlands and holy shit is every class overwhelming (although I remember feeling this way when I bought SL). My warlock and mage have like 80 spells/talents (exaggerating) that I've never heard of. I have a mage that's 56, where do I even go at this point to level? Help. Edit: Nvm, found where I left off at 56.
The talent system is a bit overwhelming after years of the previous system, but I think most classes are roughly the same from shadowlands. You’ll just have to settle down and play for a bit to adjust I think.
wowhead.com for all your min/max needs. Should be a good starting point. Class discords and digging through the APIs will give you a more in depth feel, too.
i'm like 380 ilvl now and steady pump dps as enh. who wants to run mythics w/ me i also need someone to run 2s w/ if anyone wants to do arenas too
