Picked up the recent issue of FourFourTwo to read on the plane on Monday and #5 on their list of 9 reasons to be scared of Brazil in the World Cup is: They have the Two Best Right-Backs in the World. Selection headache: Inter's sensational marauding full-back, Maicon, or Barca's sensational marauding full-back, Daniel Alves? They go on to take the easy way out by proposing Alves play in the midfield but admit that it doesn't seem likely that Dunga would do that. So which would you start?
Maicon is the answer, but I have seen start both and put Alves at LB and I have also seen Dunga start both and put Alves at RM. (I would never put Alves over Ramires though).
Dunga did this a couple of times during qualifiers and pretty sure he did it in the Confederations Cup too.
