Ramos left the RTC after 2016 olympic trials because he felt that Terry and Tom brought in Dan Dennis out of retirement to be "their" guy despite the fact that Ramos had been the rep at the same spot for two years. Dennis ended up beating Ramos at trials and Ramos blew up afterwards saying he felt he was betrayed. Announced he was leaving Iowa right after the match and of course ended up in Chapel Hill.
I think I'd have the top 4 guys in Ohio for 2019 as Jordan Decatur, Carson Kharchla, Connor Brady, and Jordan Crace, but D'Emilio has an argument for #5. He's ranked #50 overall on Flo for the c/o 2019. They actually project him as a 149 now.
Decatur is committed to tOSU Brady is committed to VT Don’t know on the others yet but if I had to guess: Crace: VT/tOSU maybe, UNC makes sense Kharchla: VT/tOSU here as well maybe, but everyone is recruiting him and he can go anywhere.
It was pretty cool to watch Logan, Hunter, Cam, and Chris Phillips through high school and into college.

I imagine there's a shot.
Flowrestling.org If you wanted to a monthly subscription, now would be a pretty good time with JR/SR WTT starting tomorrow. Also journeymen world duals this weekend as well.
Pat Glory, who hasn't really had much success in freestyle over the years, smashes Gavin Teasdale in Freestyle 16-3. Two big 4's on chest wraps.
Burroughs-Chamizo was an all-timer. Chamizo goes up 4-0 early, the mat is slippery as fuck, everyones sliding all over the place, Burroughs inches back, Chamizo up 5-4 with about 30 seconds left, Burroughs hits his monster blast double and goes up 6-5. Holds on for the win. Chamizo's leg defense is actually insane, he was fighting off Burroughs' single legs all match. And Burroughs had an insane series of leg defenses of his own that seemed like a surefire chamizo 2. Awesome. Awesome.
Awesome match with Burroughs-Chamizo. I will say (not a complain on flo, they weee great), but that mat was pure trash. There are like 2 things that could fuck up a great wrestling event and that was pretty frustrating.
It was a straight ice rink. Sad. Hopefully a new provider next year, has to be really embarrassing for whoever supplied the mat. I've seen it before--all that art that was on the mat, you could tell that was the culprit. I can't remember the last time I saw it but I do recall the mat was decorated similarly with art all the way across. So dumb.
Resilite: Resilite is the only party here blaming moisture. That was the stupid artwork that covered the entire mat, buddy.
Agree. I think humidity certainly didn’t help things, but it was slick immediately after wiping it too. Pretty clearly the mat (as you said likely artwork) was just slick.

Prediction: Outside of 57, 61, 70, and 125, SR WTT are going to suck on Saturday. Junior Freestyle will be significantly better all around, but there are some snoozer weights there as well. Really tough to be entertaining when most weights have 6 guys in the challenge tourney and 2-3 are no-namers.
Whoever made the brackets for JR WTT is actually stupid. At 61kg, Jordan Decatur gets a bye to the semis and a cakewalk to the finals. Meanwhile, the bottom half of the bracket is Vitali Arujau vs Drew Mattin and Nick Farro vs Josh Saunders. At 65kg, Sammy Sasso, Max Murin, Jarrod Verkleeren, Nick Lee, and Kanen Storr are on the top half of the bracket, while only Kaden Gfeller and Andrew Alirez are on the bottom half (and Ben Freeman I guess but he's not winning). Like there's a good chance that the 5 best guys are on one side of the bracket in a 13 man weight. Sasso should be the favorite but he gets Verkleeren, then the Nick Lee/Kanen Storr winner. And that's just to make the finals. How you gonna give the favorite at the weight class a World Champion in the first round? C'mon.
omg. Cadet World Silver Jacori Teemer was down 4-0 to Brock Mauller with 3 seconds left in the match and hit an inside trip for 4 to win.
Did y'all pay $25 to watch? Kind of want to watch today, but not going to pay $25 for it, and also don't think I'm going to get a flo sub.
Wasn't it just announced he was going to Norman last week? NM, just read the article, he's splitting time.
My goodness Daton Fix is good. Faces Ramos tomorrow in the best of three, winner gets Gilman at Final X.
From what I hear, he wants to go 125 and stay 57kg FS. Problem is that he's bigger than Picc. Don't know how they figure that out, but I think it's safe to say Brock is going up to 141 then one of those two mans 133.
