Matcharashvili goes for a chest wrap, Kollin Moore smartly bails, GEO hits a low gut for 3 easy turns and Moore is down 8-0 in the first 45 seconds. GEO hits a single and wins 10-0 inside 2 minutes. Silver for Moore, Matcharashvili is just better than he is (still). Matcharashvili is stuck behind Odikadze for now, but he will challenge him the next two years for sure.
will have to watch that later Heinselmann gave up a tying takedown with under 10 left but got the escape to win it
8-2 Gable, hate what flo is doing with the gigantic scoreboards; don't need half my screen taken up by numbers
Gable takes Derek White to his back early in the match to go up 6-0, rides him for a minute. Nothing the rest of the match. Gable wins 8-2 with RT
I have a guess here, but there's been whispers about Gavin for a while now. I've heard his "health issues" are not physical.
impressed by the buckeyes so far, outside of Ke-Shawn who is clearly struggling against guys bigger than he is. Pletcher wrestled one of the better matches I've seen him wrestle in his loss to Phillippi, who always wrestles him tough. Pletcher was in on Mickey's legs constantly but just couldn't finish. Phillippi didn't take one shot all match. Confident Pletcher takes that rematch. Lots of talk about 133, but for my money McKenna-Yianni D is one of the sneaky most anticipated matches of the year. I could see them both going in undefeated. Myles has a legit shot at being an undefeated champ this year. Kollin looking good.
Hayes having Berger's leg up and proceeding to get taken down was not good Isaiah White with quite the tournament and Micah better somehow fix his bottom game if he wants a title
No one thinks the bucks are going to compete for a championship this year. Or next for that matter. Or the year after that probably. Congrats on 2019-2022 Nits!
I don’t follow teams as much I should but try to watch as much that is on TV as possible. Who is most likely to push PSU? I thought Iowa was going to have a strong tournament team with what was back and desanto transferring in but kemerer our for the year hurts them big time
Grats nits. This one has been in the bag for a while. Big fan of Robbie's. He has a really high ceiling imo. I think he compares favorably to Gavin Teasdale, but I liked RBY more at the same stage of their careers. Big time commit.
Tell Kolodzik he's a pussy Also a big thank you to the thread for all of the thoughtful comments on RU surpassing 3,000 season tickets. The congratulatory DM's have been overwhelming. Thanks again and congrats Bucs.
Have watched some youtubes on Kyle Dake and my god, that dude is fucking crazy. Good for him finally getting near his goal but he's insane.
Ethan Smith with a big win over #9 Ryan Christensen of Wisconsin. Is this the end of the Te'Shan Campbell era as we know it?!?1!!!??!?!?!?!!?
PSU-ASU on ESPN2 in 10 minutes. Predictiones: 125: Courtney (ASU) MD Schnupp (PSU) -- 4-0 ASU 133: RBY (PSU) dec Millhof (ASU) -- 4-3 ASU 141: Lee (PSU) MD Crooks (ASU) -- 7-4 PSU 149: Berge (PSU) dec Maruca (ASU) -- 10-4 PSU 157: Nolf (PSU) TF Pagdilao (ASU) -- 15-4 PSU 165: Joseph (PSU) dec Shields (ASU) -- 18-4 PSU 174: Hall (PSU) dec Valencia (ASU) -- 21-4 PSU 184: Rasheed (PSU) FALL Norfleet (ASU) -- 27-4 PSU 197: Nickal (PSU) FALL Harris (ASU) -- 33-4 PSU 285: Cassar (PSU) MD Gillibrand-Daniel (ASU) -- 37-4 PSU PSU is good. 37-4. TOP MATCHES 3. Cenzo-Shields-How good is Shields at 165? Can he keep it to a one takedown contest? 2. RBY-Millhof-How good is RBY period? Sounds like Millhof is bumping up and that will be his toughest test to date, and the toughest he'll face until he gets Micic and Pletcher in Feb. 1. Zahid-Hall IV. Hall took their first collegiate match. Zahid has won the last two. Can Hall even the score in Rec Hall? Any time you get a rematch of an NCAA final (as well as almost certainly a preview of this year's NCAA final). This is an all-time collegiate wrestling rivalry we get to watch play out in real-time. I feel like we'll look back on this rivalry like we do Dake-Taylor. I feel like they are future teammates on team USA.
Am I watching Bo Jordan? Gets opponent in a good position, gives up a takedown, then completely gives up
Was never in the camp that Zahid had surpassed Hall, but that was surprising... Hall looked strong, Zahid never moved him. Zahid hasn't looked nearly as good this year, has had a much tougher time getting his offense going. That rivalry is awesome, even if today was tough to watch
I think he's struggling with his cut, but that it's more about a knee problem he had this summer. Think he's healthy now but maybe behind where he'd normally be. More about some of his early results, rather than Hall. Hall can beat a 100% Zahid, or just about anyone
Your team absolutely destroys mine on pretty much every level but this is one of the dumber things I've ever heard.
I never said snyder is ordinary. He's Olympic and world champion. I think 2 incredibly athletic hwts with top tier speed and motors would be an interesting matchup instead of the usual matchups vs fatties. I didn't even say Cassar would win, but apparently it's impossible for that matchup to be interesting. Sorry to all the osu posters I've offended. Didn't mean to upset or trigger you
I'm sorry you're upset, but I just want to remind you that Snyder only beat fatty Nick Nevills by 5 last year
