top two seeds at 165 are OUT with Marinelli and Valencia getting upset

 

I think Smith would have won eventually but he was a real dick about beating a dude with one leg

 

PSU could win this team title right?

 

If RBY, Lee, and Brooks win titles and get other points then they may be in contention(I have no clue)

The way I’m reading it on the home board is if Iowa does well on the backsides they’ll have it wrapped up. Penn st doesn’t have enough guys to make up points there. I also don’t understand this stuff at all still.

 

Hidlay/Wilson was pathetic with how often they were using out of bounds to their favor

 

Agreed, Wilson ran for the bounds early, Hidlay ran late. Atleast the good guy won.

 

I thought all year wrestling might be a Nebraska men’s sport that was gonna perform when it mattered but the cracks started to show two week ago and this weekend they blew open. Bummer

 

Yea, ugly match. Trent has been super aggressive in his first 2 so I hope he gets back to that.

 

Had some tough draws but Schultz/Lovett/Cronin all confusing with how bad they looked.

Labriola is tough, that Truax kid from Cal Poly is sneaky good. Random, but better than his seed because he didn't get wrestle anybody in this stupid 1/3rd of a season. Not a guy he'd have seen in the quarters in a normal year

 

Yeah I felt for Red and Venz in particular, and Lovett to an extent, but no one has really stepped up to the moment.

this one is seriously crazy to me with how good 165 could have been this year

So happy for Jake. He got some help with the 2 seed being upset but this has been a incredible run no matter what else happens.

We were pretty awful as a team this year but the Big 12 title and 1 All American with 2 more possible in Demas and Moore gives me some hope for the future.

I don't think Lee can get it done next month with these knees but he's still the most dominant wrestler in college

Must have tweaked it at some point, he kinda hobbled off the mat after winning the B1G title

I knew about the torn acl. I thought the other was more of a sleeve than a brace

 

Of all sports and though I love watching it, I would not want to be a wrestler. Strict nutrition, cuts, tons of knee injuries, cauliflower ear, these guys are insane.

 

Dumb question but is it still partially torn or just protecting after previous tear?

 

It's awe-inspiring to see the amount of commitment, dedication, work etc they put into this sport. I have so much respect for these high level guys
