does anyone know if they're currently filming anything during this season? I originally read that the show had been greenlit for 2 seasons and would love to see all the local's reactions to what they've done so far this year
Honestly can't imagine them not filming it. I think this is how they are promoting the team and making money.
For those who like this for the non-celebrity stuff, you may enjoy the BBC Documemtary, Fight at the Fort. It’s about an Asian manager trying to keep a Scottish Club from getting relegated. It’s over an hour, so an easy watch.
7/10 with her mouth closed. James daughter though, wow. edit: how the fuck did she stay with him after losing that job opportunity because of him. So fucked up.
Awesome. I saw they were down 1-0 most the game so that’s a big 3 points. Need those kind of results to get promoted.
Arrived today for my son. Unfortunately they had no customization options on the back for numbers or names. The YMDRECH MWYAFSWM means maximum effort.
normally I hate green and red combinations on jerseys and think it should be reserved exclusively for Christmas decorations but that white is super sharp
You don't think it was planned well advance? I know a lot of people watching this show and enjoying it, so I would be surprised. I mean one week we only got one episode. I feel it has a strong word of mouth contingent. Googled viewership and it sounds like it is doing very well. https://www.google.com/search?q=wel...ABeACAAQCIAQCSAQCYAQDIAQjAAQE&sclient=gws-wiz
They just had a marathon of it on ESPN last night and on FX. No idea if that means it's doing well or they're just trying to push it to gain more followers.
I only say that because usually when networks would put out new shows and they didn’t get the viewership, they’d just dump the rest and move on. The release schedule has been weird. 2 eps a week for the first few weeks, then 1 a week for a couple weeks. Now this dump.
Just watched all four episodes and I am thinking they planned it this way. Run lengths of episodes vary widely be each of the stories they told in these episodes were only around 20-22 minutes or so, and felt a natural breaking point before the finales.
I’m behind trying to catch up and just watched the episode where Reynolds goes to watch the cup semifinal, everyone’s cheering and hugging him, while disgruntled and annoyed Mac complains from his couch. Had me busting a damn gut.
Just finished. Even knowing the outcome, the suspense and craziness of their last couple of games was incredible. The show was so well done. Hard to imagine anyone not getting something from it. I actually think losing out may have been the best long term thing for the club in terms of generating interest. Felt like a sitcom script where people will keep watching to see if the goals are reached. It’s like when two of the stars of a sitcom finally kiss a lot of interest goes away. Getting promoted is the kiss.
I added National League to my FotMob and started following “lowertiers” on Insta… so yeah, it worked on me
