Speaking of. Picked these up yesterday. The Isbell and Dude albums are gorgeous.
SIAP this is a fantastic album.
this is a good one. Has that Turnpike sound all over it with the fiddle leading the mix
This new Zach Bryan. My god. Strong fiddle and a song about a stubborn sons misguided attempt at redemption and to prove himself. This song fucks and it fucks hard.
This is a fun, enjoyable listen.
If any of y'all are going to be around Raleigh in October...
John Moreland - Claim Your Prize
just bringing this back up because "Bored if I don't" is a great song.

Whiskey Fever is a Bakersfield-esque banger
Heavy Eyes fucking rips
Billy Stay will have you in your feels my heavens
It’s gonna take me a month to listen to this
The songs that I’ve gotten to being as good as they are make me hate the format even more.
I’m hesitant to go back and listen to songs as I work through the album because then I’ll be listening for three hours. Just too much.
Hell yeah Zach this is good
I wish I were writing down the songs I REALLY liked as I went. It’s gonna be hard as fuck to go back through this
fuck I forgot that was today
It’s gonna take me a month to listen to all these songs… but the ones over heard so far are great
man I was pretty skeptical about 34 songs but so far this is really strong
Full of really good songs
I still think it's too many songs on one album but it absolutely fucks.
My issue with Bryan is my issue with this album being so long. He has spells in his albums where everything starts to run together (still good but samey). This album has that and it’s a lot of songs to deal with.
it’s got some big time slaps tho
I’m through the 1st like 20 songs and Heavy Eyes and Sober side of Sorry are my favorites. I love Cold Damn Vampires too but that’s a old song
I’ve liked just about every song but they do start to run together and sound the same after a while
think Tishomingo is my favorite so far
I have 15 favorites
You are my sunshine is fucking beautiful too. Forgot to mention that one.
Top 5 after listening to it all:
1) Heavy Eyes
2) Sober Side of Sorry
3) Poems and Closing Time
5) Cold Damn Vampires
So many good songs. I dont think I dislike any of them. Great album.
This is the saddest group of comments I’ve ever seen. Jesus Christ
i am at a family event and Marcus King’s father is here.
Are you Marcus King
yes. ask me any marcus king question
I heard his new single, “Hard Working Man” today and friends, it’s bangs.
I was able to listen to some of his stuff on the flight out to Denver and he stole the Luke Combs show. Easily the best opening act and I am now a fan.
how tf you get that hot ass gf?

When you get a chance to honor the writer of Cover Me Up, you do it.
