Never thought I’d say this, but thank god my dad is in a wheelchair/scooter. Got three in the accessible section for Saturday.
Saw them here at the variety playhouse once. William Elliot whitmore was the opener and we were standing against the stage. It was a great show start to finish
Somebody posted his album Nothing to Lose in the real old red dirt thread like 13 years ago and has always stuck with me. It’s a banger IMO. Been listening to it a bunch lately and I don’t know why he never “made it.”
If you watched my tiktoks you’d know her. She’s from Charleston, WV btw I was introduced to the damn quails. I like that I heard
Just heard the 9 year old singing along To Rock and a hard place by Bailey Zimmerman while I had it playing in the garage
His old stuff is really good. Huge Turnpike influence. His early goal was to bring good Texas Country with Chris Knight level song writing to the mainstream. I think he's pretty far off that path at this point.
his old stuff is far better but if he was the median artist of the "mainstream," country radio would be in a better place than it is today. Limestone Kid and Probably Wrong are really good albums
Made it to Stoned on the Parker McCollum album before I quickly skimmed through the rest. 1st verse sounding like an emotional middle schooler followed by "Hey pretty thing can I lay my weary head on your shoulder" brought an audible what the fuck from me.
this is such a strong album, i heard her cover of Willin' recently and decided to down a rabbit hole.
lol that's some bullshit. Saw him in Destin on Sunday. Surprisingly he didnt hit his weed pen on stage as I saw him do it in Mobile and Nola.
Was downtown tonight and wondering why there were people running around everywhere dressed like clown cowboys and cowgirls, then I saw Zach Bryan was playing at Toyota Center.
Unfortunately his crowd is now made up of the exact same folks that would travel to see Morgan Wallen and Hardy.
All the Joe Rogan bros I know are really into Zach Bryan. I'm not sure what the connection is but that's a Venn Diagram overlap I've noticed.
devine idk how often you poke your head in here but these guys have solid taste and they’d have had you listening to Ferrell months ago. I don’t contribute a ton but I always check in here on Friday to catch up and see what’s new with music and I enjoy what’s shared in here more often than not.
The search yielded three sealed bags of marijuana, a green camouflage handbag that contained a white powdery substance in a small tube, 3 1/2 pink oval pills, 2 pink circular pills, another Ziploc bag of marijuana, as well as a clear plastic bag of a white powdery substance that was located in a silver tin cup in a cup holder on a table, as well as a glass pipe. Cauthen later confessed to police that the pills were Xanax and Diazepam, and that he did not have a prescription for them. Cauthen also claimed all of the marijuana on the bus as his own. However, neither Cauthen nor anyone else on the bus claimed the white powdery substances. Tests concluded that the white powdery substance in the tube was presumptive positive for heroin and a cocaine-based narcotic. The white powdery substance in the plastic bag was presumptive positive for cocaine. Some orange gummies were also tested, and came back as positive for THC. The gross weight of all of the marijuana found on the bus was 111.97 grams, or nearly 4 ounces. Sgt. Matt Storen of the Isle of Palms Police tells Saving Country Music that the weight of the marijuana is why Cauthen was charged with manufacturing and possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute. The separate possession charge was for the illegal prescription pills.
I'm still wondering why we give a fuck about things like this as a country. At least as far as crime is concerned.
Sounds similar, but different, to the time Cross Canadian Ragweed got busted with 51 pipes in their bus
Started listening to her and other suggested music on her stations that I enjoyed -Bella White -Emily Nenni
Cauthen about killed himself writing Room 41. Hopefully he doesn't go down that path again, even though it produced an incredible album.
I believe it is my friend. Not sure why it’s called “Angry Bones” on YouTube, but the actual name of the song is “Take Me Away” and it’s on her first album “Reckless”.
