Moments is my favorite so far after first listen. Drowning is up there as well but has been out for a while
Didn’t realize they had such a southern rock sound. Loving this album. Reminds me of some Lynyrd Skynyrd
Apparently John Moreland and Kyle nix got in a bar fight https://savingcountrymusic.com/john-moreland-and-turnpike-troubadours-kyle-nix-tussle-in-tulsa/
Wound up seeing Stapelton this weekend. That man’s voice is just amazing. Was a really good show and as a bonus absolutely one of my favorite concert posters to date.
His last song was Sometimes I cry and I swear to god when he sang that “cry” or two that he’s famous for everyone in the audience collectively gasped and came in their pants.
This is great. Glad she moved away from whatever that disaster Sadler had her release last year was. She's incredibly talented and that entire album was just truly awful.
Turnpike sounded fucking good! I saw them in May in an arena and the sound/mix was questionable, but the boys were dialed last night. Shane Smith was great too, as he always is. Wish they both could have played 1.5 hours.
Yes. Damn good show. That’s probably the most talkative I’ve ever seen Evan. He was having a great time.
Dave Rawlings and Gillian Welch have a song called hashtag on their fantastic new album. It’s about how much Guy Clark meant to them and I promise it didn’t make me cry.
Just got home from the red clay strays and their performance is fucking awesome, if they’re in your city go
