Linda McMahon picked by Trump to head Small Business Association. Called it! http://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/20...-mcmahon-writes-his-christmas-letter-to-santa
Although this really is a weird fit for her. they're trying to argue the WWF was a small business that Linda (CEO for most of the time Vince owned it) grew into the global business it is. Granted Vince (and, by extension, Linda) grew the company big time but it was the New York Territory based out of the most famous sports arena in the world. they had a lot of built in advantages. Not to mention their history is built on shutting down and buying up the smaller competition around them. It's funny is all.
Ben Carson is head of HUD and has no qualifications at all, so I don't think it really matters to Trump.
yeah that was the goal of my search... oddly enough not a single frizzy hair shot of Seth... but one of Dolph.
I mean the crowd has been watching wrestling from 7 to 10 and you decided to give them another hour of the most boring mat based wrestling possible two weeks in a row. Tape the show from 7pm to 7:50. Superstars or Main Event isn't even worth the trouble. TBQH 205 live has another week for me and i'm probably finished with it myself and in that case who gives a fuck
I remember watching this match as a young man... it was one of the best matches of young bankz childhood. Perfect was going for the leg drop to the nut sack of Brett. Brett catches the leg and turns it into the sharp shooter. Find the match on the Network its worth the watch
Heh, no offense bankz, but you honestly think I haven't seen that match before? That's also a favorite of mine from childhood, had transitioned off Ultimate Warrior to Bret being my boy pretty much as soon as his singles run started. Used to walk around the house doing his little hand gesture thing. my wonderment had to do with the frizzy hair
and on a somewhat related note, what's everybody's lineage of favorite wrestlers? for me: -Ultimate Warrior from the time I started watching, to I guess a little after WM VII -Bret Hart once he got his singles push, although I remember going through periods of Undertaker when he turned face too, which is funny because he literally scared the shit out of me at first -Shawn Michaels, I remember really wanting him to beat Diesel at WM XI, but I don't think it was official for me until Sid powerbomed him the night after, and it's basically been HBK ever since. Did go through a period of RVD during his absence though. As far as recent times go, don't think I had a favorite until Seth, who's been overtaken by AJ now.
Started watching in late 1999. My favorites in order went from Kurt Angle - 1999 - 2006 to CM Punk - 2006 - 2013 to Daniel Bryan - 2013 - 2015 to Sami Zayn - 2015 to AJ Styles - 2016 - Kurt Angle is favorite emeritus
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has pulled Jerry “The King” Lawler from all regular programming, which had included the weekly Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Livepre-shows. Lawler is still under contract with WWE, but will only be used going forward on “special occasions”. Amy Dumas, better known as former WWE Women’s Champion Lita, was also pulled from the same duties
He's probably getting a spot in Trump's administration too. With his crown, of course. Secretary of Puppies
I don't think he's getting a full time pre-show spot. I read somewhere that WWE is going to bring in random people now. Like Coach and I saw some other names but don't remember now.
gay, Lita was awesome at her job, and awesome to look at, and the sexual tension she had with Corey was fun
Never noticed, thought she was great at breaking down the psychology of a matchup and bringing up relevant points, actually gave the matches a bigger feel to me. Only saw her on preshows for ppvs though.
glad to see that it looks like Sanity's getting some fresh blood, tough to take them seriously with how crappy their underlings seemed to me
Favorites as time passed... Hogan Warrior Hogan Brett Razor HBK Austin Rock Cena HBK Punk Bryan Owens
Eddie Gilbert was my man but died so early. Same as Texas tornado. All that shite used to come on espn
NXT Australia spoiler: Spoiler Naka won. Can't wait for Joe. Especially with Roode being #1 contender.
The Rock, just all the Rock. Also classic Razor and HBK, both before DX and during Rock/Austin fued for the IC title was probably the epidomy of wrestling for me in my childhood
So with Mickie James signing with WWE, does this mean Magnus will be showing up in NXT soon? I would love Roode to take the belt off Naka after a lengthy feud and then have Magnus show up. Those two could put on some great matches.
Can we all talk about how great the Miz is on the mic? He is putting in some promos for the ages right now. And I don't even like the Miz.
