while that makes sense for UFC not every feud is based on going for a championship in pro wrestling. I mean, it's nice, but not necessary for storytelling if you.....you know.....know how to tell a story.
To go further with this, no one on Raw right now has any meaningful feud. I was about to say that maybe if Elias is put into a meaningful feud like for the IC title it would help him. Then I remembered that Rollins has the IC title and hit hit me that all 4 titles are wrapped up in 6 people (and Corbin for some reason) all as a part of the Roman storyline. It’s no wonder that Elias, KO, Balor, Lashley, Jinder, or any other male on the roster seems boring, they have nothing meaningful to do or feud over. They are all just filler
look at them going all nxt with that raw tag title match possibly my favorite wwe match of the year so far, trying to think of what else would give it a run, Seth/Dolph from SS probably
Oh yeah, dont get me wrong. I think it's 100% on the writers (Vince) and not the performers. The Raw platform is only for Roman advancement.
I don't want to praise them too early, but I honestly think WWE is doing well with the long story arc for Miz/Bryan so far. Maybe they started it too early, but I'm fine with a little filler in the beginning to build it up. Now they're getting it involved in the title picture. God help us if one of them win the title, then we're headed for a Rumble-Mania and WWE could tell the best story they've told in years. Lot of time for them to fuck it up, but so far so good, imo.
Uh, what? TLC in December? No survivor series? They have Australia in Oct and Saudi Arabia in Nov. Although I guess it will be November, last Saudi show may have well be a house show. But with Evolution too, seems a little packed.

According to an article on wbir.com, WWE is donating $100,000 to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation in exchange for Knox County, TN Mayor Glenn Jacobs (Kane) making appearances with the company this fall. Vince McMahon commented on the donation in a press release by stating, "I appreciate his gesture to the heroes who selflessly put themselves in harm’s way and look forward to his continued progress in his mission." Jacobs also commented: "I’m extremely proud that my career with WWE will have a positive impact on the community through my role as Knox County Mayor."
Impact Wrestling officials Ed Nordholm and Scott D'Amore met with several high ranking WWE executives last week at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT, PWInsider.com has confirmed with several WWE sources. Vince McMahon was not involved in the meeting we are told, but members of Triple H's team were in attendance. The meeting between the two companies took place in the middle of last week, after Impact officials had returned from Manchester, Great Britain and right before they headed down to Mexico City for a pair of Impact Wrestling tapings. One WWE source described the meeting as a general discussion about the two companies and as a chance to get everyone in the same room as opposed to a a specific negotiation. Since Impact was purchased by Anthem Media, WWE has worked with the company on several occasions, paying to license material from the TNA/Impact Wrestling video library for usage on the WWE Network, most notably the Hardy Boyz "Broken Universe" material and AJ Styles-related content. When contacted today by PWInsider.com, Impact officials declined to comment on the nature of the meetings. One Impact source specifically stressed that the meetings were not regarding the sale of either Impact Wrestling as a company or it's video library, stating neither are for sale. **** Speaking of last week's Mexico City tapings (which will start airing this Thursday on Pop), they were pointed to by several wrestlers as a sign of how the Impact Wrestling locker room has really started to congeal as a unit. Impact covered all travel and expenses for talents working the tapings, including meals, transit on the ground and hotels. We were told that even talents who's deals require the company to provide them their own hotel room willingly offered to share a room with other talents in order to help Impact keep the costs affordable and the entire trip turned into something of a big bonding experience for the locker room overall. One talent told me it was most the locker room has felt like "one team" in a long time. While the Bound for Glory PPV in October has sold out the Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, Queens, there are still tickets available for the subsequent TV tapings on Monday 10/15 and Tuesday 10/16.
