Vince thought proces; "give the belt to my "project", get the belt of Orton, generate a little press, maybe bring in some new fans from India. He will just be a translational champ and we will take it off him in a PPV or two for a more substantial world champ and a longer run
The worst bottom five are probably Stan Stasiak JBL Sheamus The Miz And now Jinder Mahal. But Stan was a transitional champ in a different era. JBL was a nobody singles guy before but then got a long push after. Sheamus was a nobody before and a nobody after but at least he was a fresh face/clean slate. Miz was a joke before and after and only recently (after a decade) has found his groove. That's the best comparison here though.
I still think this is all a big ball of nothing and Rusev will end up with the title in the end, maybe by SummerSlam or the SD show after that.

I have figured Corbin would win at Money in the Bank but unless they are going to flip the title right back off Jinder have to feel it'll go to a face. I assume AJ will get a rematch against Owens so I don't think he'll be in the MitB match. Orton winning would be a fucking disaster but I assume he'll get a rematch against Jinder in 3 weeks.
I'd like to see a long build to AJ v Nakamura at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship. How doyou do it? No idea. Because I want them to continue to be the top babyfaces in the company also. Could it be a Warrior/Hulk type situation?
I could also see Orton getting a rematch Tuesday and win it back. Never know. Or maybe AJ will say he never got his one-on-one with Cena and AJ wins the title at MitB and Corbin wins the briefcase? Idk, just spitballin.
Watching NXT on saturday I was thinking that Nikki Cross would've been an excellent Sister Abigail had they wanted to go down that road.

Watched NXT and oh my god I need to see these British guys in person here in Orlando. That had MOTY-worthy action. That Dunne guy could not possibly look more British btw. Interesting women's match in the sense of the challenger's personalities and looks are just so different from women's wrestling. Totally believable. I never thought the winner was in doubt, which took away from it, but I liked the story and the characters. I really want to know what Ciampa said right before he flipped. I can't read lips but almost looked something like 'you'll always be my best friend' or something. And the fact those guys are such good friends is going to make for an incredible program. They will lift each other to another level. But no more Glorious Bombs :_(
I really thought we were going to see Breeze in a wife beater and a wig standing on the apron trying to trick one of the Usos that he was that person's twin brother.
Breeze is headed down the Mizdow bridge. I love the skits. But it shouldn't go into the ring. They actually put on a decent match once they got serious
And count me as team comedy match was funny and good and can be both. The disguises and goofy stuff added to the match, and didn't take anything away. If it gets to be that's all they do is comedy matches, then it's a problem, but that match last night was hilarious and fun.
Gargano's facial expressions are fantastic. That look as he's about be spun around is great. After taking the first beat down he crawls up Ciampa leg with a heartbroken shocked look. From NXT putting up the go home graphic to the sell job to Ciampa watching him get stretchered out. A+
You have one of the best strong style wrestlers in the world. I know! Let's book him to work underneath for 15 minutes against a guy who's only known for selling!
I read a deadspin (yeah I know, it was retweeted and I clicked because someone said they were trying to hinder the Jinder) article earlier about Jinder winning and I got pretty hot when they claimed the WWE title didn't mean that much since the Universal title is the main title now. Legacy follows the WWE title you cockbrains!
