Can't wait for this House of Horrors match to be a cage match with shit hung over the ring like the Asylum match Y2J/Ambrose had.
Bray on the other hand had me im betting it's just going to be more of the shit they did at mania and show of their high tech ring projection system and be totally retarded
Shit, I just realized how early it still is. We're going to get a Super Roman run in to end the show. And guess what Vince? He'll still get booed.
Women's match, Jeff Hardy v Cesaro, and Show/Stroman were all decent matches, surprisingly enough. Nothing life changing, but worth your time.
I had it on while I was working. Was any storyline advanced outside of Bliss becoming the #1 contender and Braun wrecking more shit? I honestly can't think of anything else.
The hardy's and shamsaro are good sports or something? The 7 dieties have shown me a vision where the hardy's lose the titles to them and Matt blames Jeff, starting his broken gimmick again over it. It will be most delightful
Braun Strowman should be the guy they push, at least between him and Reigns. I'm laughing at how myopic Vince is being about this. He's keeping Roman off TV with a kayfabe injury in the 1980's booking idea that it'll build babyface sympathy. Meanwhile the King Kong Bundy who took Hogan out, Strowman, is getting better and better every week and is getting bigger and bigger reactions too. And not boos either. Fans are loving this guy. And Vince doesn't even see it. All he sees is "fans are eating Strowman up...they'll LOVE IT when Reigns beats him!"
Braun Strowman may be the best thing RAW writers have done. And we all now it's going to be ruined when he jobs to reigns
I didn't watch RAW at all, just read what happened. Not a single match took place that I had any interest in.
Big Dave on the Hardy's They're planning on doing the Broken gimmick. They're working to work out a deal with TNA at the moment. Assuming nothing goes sideways there, they'll re-tell the story.
Two interesting tidbits today in the rumor mill. One I don't need to spoiler, it's that Shelton Benjamin is NOT under wwe contract. His injury was discovered during negotiations and nothing was even signed. I'll spoiler the other one. Spoiler Expect Braun Strowman’s Payback match with Roman Reigns to add a stipulation next week, so Strowman can keep his momentum into a Brock Lesnar program and Roman can lose without taking a pin.
If they put Reigns out there yesterday, a bunch of people would be mad because he got the shit beat out of him last week and just went right back to work like nothing happened after it.
They did, but house shows don't count as cannon. Also, Roman could be off TV for another week or two, his brother Rosey died last night.
Never got to see either, that I recall, but some of the stuff I've seen of Umaga is pretty cool. Seems like he was a bright spot for a little while.
they had a pretty cool 6 man tables match at the '02 Survivor Series, one of my favorite ppv's of all time
I had read somewhere a while back when it was still just a rumor that they would come back to WWE that any deal made would include the hardy's retaining creative control of there characters so they could still do the weird shit at their compound that made us fall in love with them
im not worried about them though (although thats good news). Im worried about the commentary telling the story or the feuds they get paired with
HHH faced Dean last year in Canada at the PPV before Mania. It was his best match against a shield member by a great wide margin.
RAW was interesting... Samoa Joe/Rollins segment was good. Rollins might have found his sweet spot as a babyface on the mic. Last couple of weeks have been good for him. Never thought I would say this but Enzo/Cass are fading for me. You can keep having these guys take pins. I get making Nia look strong but that was a bit over the top. The ladies got time and put on a good match. Bliss is amazing. I've said this for months but she is the best Female on the roster.. Braun is great... Just a guy who kicks everyone's ass. His match with Bigshow was pretty good for two super heavyweights. They delivered on the ring collapse that we were wanting for during the first matchup. That ref bump and ring stairs popping up in the air really made that spot. Jesus if this all to give Roman a win. I remember when Braun first debuted and Dave or someone on the dirt sheet sites said Vince loved Braun and wanted him to be a huge part of the brand. Well Vince was spot on with that evaluation. Braun has improved so much since he debut. Unfortunately like Bigpig said this feels like 80/90's Vince booking where they built these huge monsters just for Hogan to beat.
I'm not sure the need HHH for this next Mania. It wouldn't surprise me to see him off TV unless you have a run of injuries.
I was a big fan of Umaga. His manager really was a fantastic compliment to him. WWE really needs to get more managers to help get some guys over in the company.
Some of you guys may be eligible for this - WWE sweepstakes for WM34 tickets for long time WWE Network subscribers: http://www.wwe.com/wwe-network-wrestlemania-34-sweeps-faq#oo
Damn, don't think I'm eligible. Been subbed since before Night of Champions 2014. Lame. Like a month off.
Kinda crappy that someone could have subbed at the start, canceled, resubbed for WM this year and be eligible. But someone subbed for 2.5 years straight gets the shaft. Thanks Roman. Sad life.
The irony is that if roman was booked this way (which was basically how he was booked in the shield) he would be just as over probably I thought the whole Braun/show thing was very well done. That is exactly how I want to see Braun. That's exactly how show should be used. He match was actually not bad considering it's between 2 giant men. The ring breaking was a fun, yet predictable, climax The only thing I would have changed is when Braun got up, have him put a boot on shows chest and tell the ref to count. It was weird that the ring breaks and shit was just over especially when you make the point to have Braun get up afterward. How badass of an image would it have been to have Braun flexing with a boot on shoes chest in a busted ass ring while the show fades to black
