Shocked he didn't go straight to the cruiserweights. I don't care that he beat Braun, the whole point was for Braun to go crazy and beat the hell out of him and continue to look strong, which he did. His only losses to this point have been him screwing himself, so it's whatever to me. I totally agree with Bankz and whoever else said the Balor/Club shit was just disappointing. How are you going to just put that in a throwaway nothing match? Pissed me off.
I totally understand the Kalisto/Braun matchup because Kalisto will bump like a champ for Braun and it can show off Braun's superhuman strength but they didn't actually do much of that outside of the one handed chokeslams. Kalisto new mask and black face paint underneath is really cool but the music is bad. Hopefully now that this Braun stuff is done he's added to the Cruiserweight division where he belongs.
I no longer give a shit about that division. Those guys are forced to work a mat based match with rest holds just like everyone else in the company and its turned me off completely. Neville is great. AA is good as a cocky heel. The rest isn't worth a watch under its current format
Yeah, love Aries as a heel, he just doesn't work as a face at all. But I agree the division is dead. They treat it like a sideshow that is in an alternate universe to anything else on the show. Heaven forbid actually have someone from the cruiserweight division interact backstage with another wrestler.

Storylines... speaking moreso for Smackdown vs RAW. Last couple weeks of Smackdown have been meh and not up to the standard since the brand split.

If this is just a way to turn Charlotte baby i'm not sure i'll enjoy that much given the lack of top heels in the division. Love Breezedango but seriously.. that's the 2nd complete joe bear act to get a major title match for the next event. Overall two hours of actual storyline being moved forward.

IMO, they are making a mistake by saving Nakamura's first fight for a PPV. Yea, you got the massive pop during the Smackdown after WM, but the crowd was completely dead for his intro last night. The average person doesn't know him and he is awful on the mic. Need to do something soon

The Naka roll out hasn't been great but that crowd wasn't dead last night for Naka. They popped and sang his song. They did start to tune out during the promo but that's because Dolph kept going on and on and on and on. They got behind Naka when he hit the suplex and went for the knee. Could it be better? Sure. But I have no major issue with waiting for him to debut on PPV. We always bitch and moan about having big time matches on free TV. They now choose to wait to give this big match and you guys bitch about that lol...
Smackdown has to keep creating big stars. Baron is pretty awesome so I have no problem with Sami making him a stud and moving on to the IC title before maybe being positioned for a World Title run.
Bankz with the turkey yeah I really liked the Rusev segment too, nice way to build hype for his return
I have a hunch that they will be doing a soft reboot of Rusev and Lana. Them speaking without their accents on the divas reality somewhat negates the purpose of using one when they return.
