It did once like 6 weeks ago. Don't remember who it was on, but I remember being surprised. Like a blue thunder bomb winning for Sami.
Jesus Christ Cole. If Dolph walked out and got counted out he would lose a fall and lose the match 5-4 you fucking idiot
Hold up hold up, this is a new era, and in this new era, we fight until there's a winner man that was an annoying month
Jesus nothing like closing the show with everyone going home pissed. When you could’ve had AJ close it and everyone happy
Not one thing of consequence really came out of last night. It seems like they're setting up tag matches. Ronda/Nattie vs Alexa/Micky and Ziggler/Macintyre vs Rollins/Ambrose (I assume). And unless Dean comes back only to turn on Seth, who gives a shit if they beat Ziggler and Macintyre in a blow off match. Is anyone itching to see Orton vs Shinsuke? Why is Daniel Bryan getting pinned by the Bludgeon Brothers? What does that accomplish? Kevin Owens has been a punching bag going back to his feud with Shane McMahon. Clearly they're going to break up English and Rusev because the crowd is enjoying that too much. Lashley vs Brock? Piss break match. Just garbage all around. How in the fucking world do you have this much talent but the matches are boring, there are no great stakes involved, and there is no novelty or surprises. Awful.
Wow, I think I'm the only one that somewhat enjoyed last night. I thought they wrapped a bow on quite a few things, and moved on from dead acts. Starting with Raw tonight, business should be picking back up.
I think your going to get at Summer Slam the following.... Rollins/Roman vs Dolph/Macintyre Brock/Bob Ronda/Bliss Hell No/BB Orton/Naka One would think Braun/KO continues on... wouldn’t be surprised if Braun cashes in that night to close the show. AJ vs Joe makes all the sense in the world.
My card would look something like this: Preshow: Orton v Hardy Battle Royal for the #1 contender to the US/IC title (it's a way to get all the midcarders on the show). Almas wins. Carmella v Becky Lynch v Asuka v Charlotte New Day/Usos v Bludgeon Brothers/Sanity (War Games?) Dolph open challenge for the IC Title (KO return as a babyface and wins) American Alpha (who I'd have beat the B Team tonight for the titles) v The Revival v AOP for the titles Ronda v Bliss v Jax Rollins v Ambrose Naka v Daniel Bryan Joe v Styles Roman v Bob v Brock. Strowman does the honorable cash in and adds himself to the mix to make it a hoss fight Fatal 4 Way. Strowman wins.
BACKSTAGE NOTES FROM LAST NIGHT'S EXTREME RULES PPV By Mike Johnson on 2018-07-16 11:06:00 Vince McMahon was not backstage at the event but was in communication with officials at the show. Triple H was at the PPV with Billy Kidman running the gorilla position. The entire main roster was brought in to Extreme Rules as they were told they needed to be at the PPV for a meeting. No one was aware of what the nature of the meeting would be and when they arrived, it was so Hulk Hogan could apologize and address the roster. Hogan left the PPV halfway through the show and at no point, was scheduled to appear on camera. Randy Orton was hidden backstage in a bus until about 30 minutes before he made his return. His wife was brought to ringside right before the segment. The original plan for the show was for the Iron Man match to open the PPV and for the last hour to feature AJ Styles vs. Rusev, Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss and to close out with Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley, but the match order was shifted late in the day.
imagine how mad you would be if you were forced to travel to Pittsburgh just so Hogan could give you some bullshit apology you never asked for.
Right me too. Was he even kayfabe out for a reason? This is how out of touch Vince is. Also there better be some make good by WWE for what Kevin Owens has been doing to himself the last 4 months. Every huge bump has come from him. He's killing himself.
Just some notes on the Hogan stuff. Reminder of the transcript of what Hogan said: “I don’t know if Brooke was fucking the black guy’s son,” Hulk raved, the sources add. “I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, fucking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and shit, and whatever.” ... According to sources, he said: “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to fuck some ngger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall ngger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! “I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.” ------ I'd love to know what was going through the minds of the black employees. Mark Henry was fairly vocal about not wanting Hogan back without a serious personal appology, and it sounds like a big part of his appology last night was "Sorry for getting caught. Be careful what you say, there's cameras everywhere."
