"You people, you know who we are. But you don't know why we're here." Queue rest of the board being confused.
Idk what needs to be what, it was the only logo I found on a quick search that didn't have a black background. And I'm on mobile so I'm not editing shit.
Keith Lee will never be called up. He has a new name. I don’t think we see him up on main roster anytime soon. He hasn’t even been used on NXT
I don’t agree with this logo takeover. If we are changing brands you might as well use the best brand in wrestling... use the NXT logo.
Heard some speculation that WWE waiting on AEW to announce their TV show date to announce NXT on Fox Sports the same night. Not sure how I would feel about an AEW and NXT competition
I’ve also read reports that the Raw contract with Universal allows only Smackdown to be the only other WWE brand on TV.
It would be amazing and really the true battle. Wrestling the way 30 somethings want it. No kid filler just wrestling.
Nothing more than optics. WWE is taking a huge shit in publicity so they keep saying they are advocating change instead of they just want the huge payday. This is SA throwing them a bone to have a feel good story they can endlessly pimp to the media. After the event, SA will go back to being the same shithole they were before with no change.
Who's being sheep? AEW got me excited about wrestling again, enough where I've been watching the weekly WWE shows last 2 weeks hoping it's good (never finish, usually checked out mid way) and subbed to NJPW world yesterday for the BOSJ final which was fun and Dominion this weekend. I'm honestly just ready to be done with the main WWE show and while NXT takeovers is good, it's not a main brand. You're still going to get invested in guys and then dread them getting called up and ruined by Vince.
Need to take steps somewhere. No one is under the impression a single wrestling match with change the country over night. It’s a step forward.
It's a publicity stunt. Don't act like of all things a wrestling show is going to be the agent of change.
I'm honestly surprised WWE doesn't get hammered more for this deal with SA. Imagine being the big huge company in the states that wants to be positive and inclusive and you have a deal where they don't let your employees perform because of gender and race. That's wild to me.
They kinda did the first time around (John Oliver even went in hard on it) and it was in the news cycle but like everything else lately nothing sticks if you just ride it out
Guess it shows how niche wrestling is these days compared to a couple eras back. It should be big news with a company having billion dollar TV deals, but I guess no one cares lol I find it pretty gross. I can't imagine what some of the talent on the roster thinks especially being part of the discrimination.
I think you can enjoy NXT even with the departures. Sure it stinks to lose someone you connected to and enjoy in ring but it allows storylines to progress, the product to be fresh all the time. It not being main brand doesn’t change the fact that as a weekly TV show it’s by far the best product going over the last five years. I’m glad AEW has sparked interest in fans because wrestling is awesome and if WWE put NXT on the same night on national TV as AEW it would be an amazing battle. I’m not resisting because I believe NXT is the best product and that AEW best match was between two WWE guys, it’s main event had a WWE guy go over and the biggest story coming out of DoN was a WWE guy. Sheep
Ugh do you know how many US companies do business in this country and other countries who are worse? Money trumps all for everyone and the rage mob doesn’t mean shit in the long run.
Makes sense. Normally champs get the call up soon. UE all getting called up the night of Summer Slam and destroying someone... Brock? Would be amazing. Shield 2.0
Imagine thinking Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose would be the hottest thing in wrestling in 2019 a year ago.
So your sheep argument boils down to a different company featuring WWE guys in a better way? I don't think anybody denies the talent in/from WWE.
I don't think that dude is very charismatic at all. Black Machismo, Ric Flair shit? Sure. But Lethal himself is very bland, and an overrated worker.
