I went for it. Its basically the same price as Gold + Game Pass....they also have a deal for $2 for 2 months of GPU. Yes, Ultimate does give you Game Pass on PC. Also, Gears 5 servers are trash right now. Have yet to get into a game and play.
They’re overloaded now. I changed my region to New Zealand yesterday and played for about 3 hours before the game came out with some friends and everything was working great. Then once 9ET hit the Americans ruined everything.
Is campaign available to play? Have a tradition for all CODs and Gears releases. Get three 40s and play the campaign.
There’s no reason to pay much more than $45/yr for gold anyway. Just keep checking SlickDeals and other deal locator sites of the like.
I did the same. Not sure on the month. Seemed like a no brainer to me. Yeah, as long as you don’t try to do coop via Xbox live it should be good to go.
Gears 5 is somewhat playable now. Still chugging from time to time. Its a damn fun game. I thought I had my gaming rage under control and Gears 5 has shown me that is not the case. Either way, inject it straight into my veins.
I’m not having any luck in Gears 5 so far (multiplayer). Keep getting DCed or get an error at the post match screen. 2 hours of playing...still level 1
I'm level 15 or so. Probably should be like 20-25 given how much time I've been on the game. Servers have definitely gotten better for me
I played a couple games of Battlefield 1 with Taco once. He gave me no cause to doubt the hate he harbored in his heart for the enemy team.
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. For real though, Gears is fun. I assume it'll be even more fun playing with people who aren't randos. Haven't touched the campaign yet.
Just seeing this from 2018. Big fan of Yusaaa. 90% sure he's only trolling after like the 2nd or maybe even 3rd fight. I don't know anyone that would keep going back for more after they'd lost with their main -- it cracked me up. Kudos to this guy.
Finished the Gears 5 campaign tonight. Definitely solid. Some really great set pieces and a couple of wrinkles that didn't exist in previous games. I'd give it an 8/10. Took around 10 hours to complete.
Also, they do this open-world aspect in the middle third of the campaign and its pretty cool....but it drags on like an hour too long. I wanted to fucking kill the main character telling me to "get back on the Skiff" after like 4.5 hours of it. Yeah...it's not as bad as Halo 2's ending but its pretty abrupt. Okay
I’m only just about in act 3, but I love what they’ve done with the campaign. Having the new jack stuff is awesome.
Abrupt ending? Yeeeah..... That’s big tough. Don’t think I can play it because of that. Was looking forward to it as well. Super Vegeta
Borderlands 3 is fantastic so far. I fucked up by picking the Siren. Don't be like Taco and pick the Siren character. Still the most excited for Overcooked 2: Game of the Year Edition
Honestly, don't even do the Killavolt side quest. It's a practically unbeatable boss. Been trying to beat it for an hour straight now....and have only come within a half bar of health. I can't imagine how it got past testing. It makes literally zero sense. P.s. I heard this exact message then was like fuck these nerds I can beat him.....and then wasted an hour of my life. It's truly an absurd boss. Load up on electricity resistance I guess? It's honestly fucking stupid this ever made it past any beta testing.
Sat down at 9:30 last night with plans to play for a couple hours after the kids went to sleep. 2 yr starts fussing about 10 mins later. Have to hold for a long time. Finally get her to sleep and around 1 she pukes all in our bed. Moral of the story is enjoy your video games as much as you can before kids come into the picture.
