Elite controller had malfunction written all over it with how complex it was I haven’t had any issues with my stock controllers save for usual minor wear and tear on joysticks
I think I'm on my 4th controller, and my 3rd headset. I really liked the sound quality out of the Xbox brand stereo headphones, but it was just so flimsy.
I bought a regular white one when they first released a couple years ago and had the bumper randomly snapped. Has been a common issue to this day, even with the elites.
I must either not game enough or have gotten lucky but I don’t think I’ve ever replaced a controller because it broke.
Yeah, the bumpers are definitely the worst part. The Elites still use the same Day One design for the bumpers which is awful. My first Elite had no bumper issues, had it for a year and a half, developed stick drift. MS replaced it for free, one of the bumpers on that one snapped within 3 months. I recently found out that if you have a console still under warranty you can get infinite Elite controller replacements so I did that a couple months ago and my new one is still holding strong for now. It's definitely a luck of the draw thing. With the bumpers everything depends on the flexibility of a piece of plastic that isn't any more than 2mm thick. The bumpers are actually a single piece of plastic and in the middle it's super thin so it's all about that thin strip of plastic that connects them to be flexible enough not to break from regular use.
Just wasted 30 min playing Texas hold ‘em. Told my GF the problem with these games is I get side tracked. I clicked to start a mission. Proceeded to try to save strangers, attack the enemy clan, go hunting, play cards. Haven’t started the mission, lol.

those who user gamer monitors... thoughts on this one? https://www.costco.com/LG-32GK850F-B-32"-Class-QHD-HDR-FreeSync-Monitor.product.100454130.html
How hard is it to transfer data from a Xbox One S to Xbox One X? I assume storage is the main issue and will be with the future generation console because 4K games updates/files use so much space on the hard drive.
5 ms response time is far too high for FPS play. You want 2 ms or 1 ms ideally. If you’re not playing FPS games thats a pretty solid one. I just kopped this one but I play shooters more than anything so I have to have low response time and input lag. Idk what the price is on the one from Costco but if it’s close to the Samsung I’d get the Samsung.
Is this a good charging station for controllers, if not which one is good? Xbox Charger Station Xbox One Charging Dock - Vogek Xbox Wireless Controller Charger + 2 × 2000mAh Rechargeable Battery Pack for Standard and Elite Controllers White
Disagree with this. 5 ms will be fine. 5 ms vs 1 ms is cutting hairs. Once you get up in the higher ms range, you may notice input lag, but most TVs are well above the above 5 ms (think 50-100). Lower ms is obviously better, but a 1 ms vs 5 ms is insignificant. You can probably Google TN vs IPS discussions for more info. Some people prefer a better looking monitor, even if they "sacrifice" a few ms. Some prefer a less ideal picture/viewing angle in order to get optimized performance. If you're used to gaming on a Tv, that monitor will be a pretty big upgrade in both respects (visual + performance).
A ton more zombies. It's common to be fighting two ferals, two bloaters, and 15 zombies in an infestation now. Juggernauts everywhere.
Haven't tried it out yet. Looks kinda like its a dumpster fire (economy and griefing) so I'm gonna wait it out. I mean Black Ops and BF5 are fucking unbelievable so I am very content at the moment.
I’m a huge Destiny fan, bought Fallout 76, and bought RDR2 recently. I’ve barely played any of them lately bc Blackout on BO4 is too good.
there is so much to do in the single player that idk when i'll actually spend some time leveling up in online. i cant even get thru the story cause im too busy hunting, saving strangers, coming across side quests.
I have loved fallout ever since pc. I want to believe fallout 76 isn't that bad but I also feel like it will come to game pass so not worth buying right now
Blackout is a different game than Fortnite so I’d say that’s not even an accurate barometer. PubG is a much slower and clunkier game. Takes a long time to load in and out of games, drop, loot, etc. blackout games go very quickly. The gameplay is silky smooth. The gun play is great. The looting system is easy and there are cool unlocks as you grind out games. It’s a blast if you like FPS games.
I like it better than PUBG, never played fortnite. It's a little bit faster paced that PUBG imo. Zombies is fun but it's gotten way too intricate to unlock the easter eggs. They take like 3 days to complete. Multiplayer is better, less zoomy jetpack madness
People are fucking pissed about this game. The shit they pulled with the collector's edition is scummy as fuck
I'm getting worried about mine. Dropped it a few times. The trigger buttons actually got stuck. The bumpers are now spongey. And because of wear and tear the rubber grips are just falling off. The grips are just aesthetically pleasing but i have no idea how to put them back on. Had to order a set of paddles because I lost one and now that I'm obsessed with BFV I need my crouch paddle back asap!
