Was dead set on going to Costco and buying the Samsung ks8000 today but I'm getting cold feet. Any of yous buy the Visio p-series? I'm worried because I want a tv that supports both Dolby vision and hdr10. I'm aware that Xbox s only supports hd10 but I want to be future proof, damnit, wtf
Power brick has a constant orange light. I try to power on the console, and the brick flashes a white light for a second and nothing happens beyond the system chirping and not turning on. Any ideas? Already tried unplugging everything for 30 mins. That didn't work.

I am in the same boat. Even debated getting the Sony 930d. I want Dolby Vision but am hearing the KS8000 has trouble with motion blur. Considering waiting until March to see how much the new models are.
Mine have always stacked BUT I just did some Googling and apparently if you used a credit card to pay for your most recent renewal it won't stack. I haven't paid full price for Xbox Live with a credit card since like 2004 so I was not aware of that.
Yeah, I almost crazy ivan'd and bought the Sony today. Really like the 930d. Not sure it's worth 300 more than the Samsung. Went ahead and bought the Samsung. With Costco warranty and their 90 day return policy I figure I'm good. If I no likey, I'll return it and start over.
long story short I had to boot the xbox into low res mode. then I had to factory reset my tv to get it to display 4k again was weird but it works fine now
Anyone play State of Decay 1? People at IGN seem pretty amped for the new sequel. The gameplay from the first seemed awesome.
It was pretty great and is something that should make for an incredible co-op experience. First one only had single player unfortunately.
Wait to see what kind of pricing they have on the Scorpio. It's basically going to be a 4k gaming version of the Xbox One that should be out in time for the holidays. It should be the focus of the E3 briefing the tweet mentions in Killy Me Please's post just before yours.
If you're set on gaming, consider your finances and whether it's worth it to go for an Xbox One or build a PC. Consider if you'd rather play with friends or solo and decide whether you want to go for a console or a PC based on that.
I love playing PC games and have thought strongly about it but playing with friends/family and everything that the xbox one has is very enticing
Go for it, I think they are down to $250 now. Not a risk at all for what you'll get out of it. I bought it on launch day and paid just under $600.
I got the S on BF specifically to play battlefield 1. Its worth every cent. 6mo. from now everyone will be going nuts about the Scorpio or whatever theyll call it. It's going to be an xbox on steroids. Likely powerful enough to rival mid to high tier PC's. But that depends if you want to future proof.
I'm thinking about building a relatively high-tier PC here soon. Haven't built a whole new one in 4-5 years now and I've started playing a lot of H1Z1 on my current PC. I've been shopping and configuring with the goal in mind to achieve high FPS with max settings at 1440p. Don't really feel the need to go for 4k but Scorpio is supposed to do just that. How they plan on achieving that at a price that's enticing to people who are used to shelling out ~$500 for a new console will be interesting to see.

I think they just added it in the last week. I have noticed they have been adding old 360 games pretty frequently though.
