First party (and others like RE7) can be play anywhere titles where you buy it once and can play on both Xbox and PC, with cross play usually opt in. Rocket league you have to buy both versions but it allows cross play. You can stream a game off your Xbox onto your PC remotely, but even though you're playing on your PC I think it's controller only and still in the console Xbox live ecosystem. Windows 10 only.

Really we have at least 4 options: 1) keep doing what others have done before 2) create a new Xbox destiny thread 3) use the XBL TMB Clan to do LFGs and post 4) use the bungie.net destiny 2 clan and app to do the same. Seeing as we get "rewards" for using the bungie one that may be the place to start. Otherwise all the above or a combination of these should work. I like the LFG function but I'm the only one that seems to use it in the Xbox clan.
we were wondering if there's a pooling of resources for the clan between the two consoles, which would benefit both. Don't know the answer to that, but probably not a bad idea to at least start with ps4 and xbox in the same clan on Bungie.net as it is now.

no oh man, i too hate how much extra content destiny fans got over the years. it really sucked having all of that additional shit to play. who the fuck even cares about $120. that's less than three years worth of cod and dlc with more content. what you fail to realize is the game is a loot grind and you don't need a ton of content to be able to put hundreds of hours into it. stop being bitter and get the fuck over it
there will be another ~$40 one about this time next year, and possibly more smaller ones after that until D3
If it was actually the glorious WoW-meets-Halo-meets-Mass Effect it was billed as, this would be fine. Instead it's just an FPS diablo. They're going to just milk the completionist OCD gamers with DLC while the rest of us move onto better games
