Battlefront is a preorder for sure Btw I play NBA, FIFA, and Dragon Age a lot if anyone wants to join in anytime. GT is osgator79
Just watched the latest Episode VII trailer a little earlier and now that... I'm on Star Wars overload. And that's not a bad thing.
Far Cry will keep you busy for at least 35 hours if you're a completionist. Battlefront will be amazing. No doubt in my mind EA will find a way to fuck up the launch, but I may pre-order nonetheless
i liked far cry 4 but i liked 3 a lot more and nothing pisses me off more than a random death because some animal blindsides you
XBOX Live is still laughably bad. It's just so fucking irritating, slow, clunky, dysfunctional. Anger
It's sad that I pointed out to my friends tonight when shit wasn't working that at least it had been ~2 months since the last serious issues with Live. Like that was some sort of great accomplishment. Because, for this generation of consoles, it kind of was.
has sling tv been talked about in the old thread? thoughts? Seems perfect if you just watch sports primarily on cable
I mean, you are comparing a system that was released 10 years ago to something that was released a year and a half ago. I would assume at the 10 year mark Xbox One is going to be running flawlessly
The most PG one of the two games but definitely my favorite Hopefully they keep the sex cards they are always fun to collect.
Anyone wanna play some Battlefield Hardline tonight? I've got a Madden game to play but other than that I'll be free.
if anyone wants to I started a Battlefield Platoon for the-mainboard. the link it below. Feel free to join: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/platoons/view/152003290509521684/
Sorry man. Neighbor came over and brought food and turned on a movie.....and I'm too much of a bitch to kick her out.
We all assume later on it'll find it's own stride and be more competent that it is now, which in my opinion is fuckin' barely, but there are so many odd and infuriating things about it that were omitted and changed that you have to wonder if any of this was spearheaded by the same people who molded the last gen one. You can send voice messages? Half the time you can't load the messages you get or even get to the interface (SORRY! A PROBLEM Occurred, TRY AGAIN LATER!) because something crapped out. Also there is no list of recently met players and I'd like to think this is more software than hardware but why in fuck's name did they do away with background downloads? Doesn't help that there is data stats bar for downloads so you've got to sit there like a muppet and hope that your download that's been stuck at 10 percent moves up to 11 without knowin' if it's stuck or just chuggin' along. Minor foibles here and downloading that Xboxlive glass shite on your smartphone sorta fixes the messaging problems, but there is still a lot to do along with a lot of shite that needed to be there off the fuckin' bat, in my opinion, but I trust that they'll sort it.
I'm not gonna argue about minor issues but there is a list of recent players and there are background downloads. Both of those exist and they have for awhile (background downloads from the beginning....recent players for probably 6 months).
maybe I have been underutilizing the service for all these years, but aside from the occasional minor issue I have literally never had a problem with xbox live.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin DLC bosses are a fucking pain in my ass in case anyone is wondering.
some people just look for shit to bitch and moan about. i've had zero problems with live since that little fag hacked it and PSN back at christmas.
Wait what? Other than it going down way too often, none of the shit you're talking about is actually a problem. Do apps sometimes fuck up? Sure. But that's the nature of anything that's running multiple processes from multiple developers at the same time. Apps on my phone force close sometimes too. Just reopen the app. The download speed issue sounds like a problem with your Internet, and background downloads have been a feature since launch. Hell I can get on the Xbox store, buy a game, and it'll start downloading right now while I'm at work. Recent players have been around for awhile too. Are you sure you have an Xbox One?
Live is not horrible, but it's maybe 75% as good as it was on the 360. Things were just simpler/faster to navigate on the 360. It has improved 1000% since launch though, and will only get more polished over time. I love having an expanded friends list, and I do not miss "Message to all friends and recent players: Does anyone want to join my super cool call of duty zombies game?"
I had 2-3 friends who were constantly changing their gamertags whenever they joined a new COD clan and after the 4th or 5th time I got a message from them ("M2AF - this is _____________") they were removed from my friends list. From about September/October 2014 to February 2015 friends lists would go down about once a week and I'd say about 1/3rd of those outages were accompanied by an inability to play digitally purchased games requiring a license check due to game sharing. The game sharing is something not a ton of people take advantage of so I can see not running into an issue there but the friends list being down once a week was an absolute joke.
The remake is so much harder than the original, with the swapped spawn placements and all. It feels more like dark souls 1 and I love it. I just finished the lost Bastille though, so I have a ways to go.
I never played DS 2 but I enjoyed DS 1 more than I am enjoying this one. I've never had too much trouble with a particular boss fight, but Aava is fucking my world up. I'm level 140ish with 50 Str, 35 faith, 40 Dex, and around 25 End/Vit/whatever the other one is. It's just a bad matchup for me.
That's my sentiment as well, I think I beat ds1 8 times on one character. Don't open unless you want a tip for beating aava. Spoiler Make sure you have the item called the priestesses eye, it allows you to see aava more clearly, also since you have a high strength equip the rebel great shield and reinforce it through magic. That way it should be able to block close to 100% physical and magic damage. Also, aava is resistant to all spell types.
Also, don't fuck to with adaptability unless you dodge a lot. It gives some minor boosts to stats, but the main thing is it gives you more invincibility frames, and makes some animations faster. (Like drinking estus)
I have the eye and I also have Havel's shield +5, magic def around 450, and total equip load under 70% so I'm not fat rolling. I just suck at dodging most her attacks.
Pretty sure the Witcher will be the next game purchase. I've never played the previous 2 but this game looks way too good to skip. Won't preorder though.
My favorite game series of all time the mix of difficulty with a deep lore has cemented it there. I didn't really enjoy the 2nd it just kind of cut off at the end of the game, but the first one despite its infuriatingly complex combat system was a masterpiece of a game.
Will be doing the exact same. Need to cop Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age though (if I keep saying I will do it on this thread, then I will eventually do it)
Never said anythin' about a problem and my use of the word 'foible' in regards to interacting with friends and recent players went by misinterpreted;it's more of an annoyance that anything else and the new Interface is just that, annoying as hell when it doesn't work as it should, but that is to be expected with the nature of applications interacting with multiple tasks and such, eh? I'll take a point deduction for using foreign vernacular whilst trying to bring my view across, mate. And I never said I had any problem with download SPEED (I'm at a modest 32 MB at the moment so I get games within the hour)...I had a problem with download PROGRESS or in this case, the lack of information about it. There should be a bar or some sort of notifier that shows you if your game or application is currently downloading properly of if it's just stuck by way of showing you the remaining mb/kb(s) left or somethin'. I've had both physically installed and digitally downloaded games stop at certain percentages and I was left clueless as to progress of my download; was it moving along albeit slowly or was it stuck in place? Hard to tell with just a number next to a percentage and the only way I've found to gauge this in a sense is to check how much my console has download with that hour to hour tally somewhere in the Internet useage section. Too many deletes, to uninstalls, to formats to reinstalls for my likin' and I downloaded full free games on the 360 quite often without much of this run around. As for background downloads, I've just done a bit of research and experimentation with it and I must admit, the first time using it I might have put my console in energy saving power mode and not the Instant-on configuration, since the former sounded more close to what the 360 used to do, which was download games whilst the console was turned off in a sense. Not above apologizing for having that part of my argument inaccurate, but I still stand by my other issues with the friends interface, lack of voice messages (Unless they changed that recently?) and lack of information regarding download progress.
imagine being excited for a shitty ea sequel thats objectively worse than its decade old predecessor with day 1 dlc revealed before actual gameplay
For once I actually agree with you on something video game related I have no expectations for this game hoping E3 will show me something I want to see.
New MCC update out. 1.6GB. No big in-game changes I noticed for the games I care about (CE and H2C) but they supposedly fixed ranks and will finally be rolling the ranks out to more playlists over the next few days.
No on 1st person view, but there will be so much going on FP view would hinder you. I believe so on the bow I know there are bombs, fire bombs, crossbow, and throwing knives.
