Preorders just aren't the same anymore. You used to need to do it to ensure you'd have a copy of the game on day 1. And they used to include content you couldn't get otherwise (ie I recall Ultimate Alliance 2 only gave you Juggernaut if you preordered).
Sorry that should've read not. EA is going to focus on UT because the in game purchases only come from that
Yeah preorders are just BS now. The reason you used to pre-order was to make sure you got the game within the first couple weeks.....now its a scam to get money on the front end. I don't know a lot about the developers of the Witcher 3 but they can wait to get my money until after the game comes out. Granted I am not going to wait for a shit load of reviews (unless they come out before the game which would be great) and I am totally going to buy the game. It's just a matter of my purchase not being a "pre-order" that makes a difference.
Ahh... yeah, that makes sense. My account was hacked a couple years ago to be used to purchase UT shit. I was looking at the achievements for FIFA yesterday when I was bored at work and was kinda surprised I only had a handful. Then I started reading through them and so many of them were UT-based. Right now I just like using my own user created dude and playing through my career.
Ultimate Team is the stupidest shit in the world. It's like any other free to play style game but we've already paid to fucking play it.
Yeah I've never had any interest in those types of things. I don't get why some people get basically addicted to it. I remember watching a guy streaming on Twitch as he opened UT packs. Dude was hilarious when he trolled people on COD then he would stream for like 8 hours straight just opening UT packs or something. Never watched him again.

I've gotten into it over playing career mode because EA makes no effort to improve career mode at this point so its same thing, I either play as my favorite team and have no fun because its so easy or get a Championship club promoted then move onto a club like Arsenal (actually its pretty much always Arsenal) who are top but don't have the ridiculous funds City do
Yes, exceptions exist. You shouldn't pre-order any non-sports game from EA, and you shouldn't pre-order any game published by Activision, Ubisoft, or Microsoft Studios (including Halo 5) Lesser known devs don't have the bad reputation yet so I guess pre-ordering from them is encouraged.
currently downloading Hardline...what should i know about the game before i start getting murdered right off the bat
Hotwire is the easiest mode to gain money to buy new guns and weapons for all classes. Just hop into one of the main cars and ride around.
how much do yall think i can get for my old xbox 360 slim with 13 games a controller and turtle beach headset?
I think gamestop gave me $75 for my old 360. pretty surethey list the credit value for things on their site.
Depends on the games and the model of the headset but probably $175-200. If you were wanting to put that towards an X1 then you should just keep an eye out for any of those deals where they give you a shit ton of credit towards one for your last gen console. Also, I just about deleted FIFA last night after playing it a ton since Saturday. Started my career with the Columbus Crew, loaned out to Leicester City, playing for the Irish national team, having a lot of fun. I had suffered an ankle sprain at one point in the season that put me out 4 weeks that I wasn't too pleased with but it didn't cost me or my teams too much. But last night I suffered a sprained knee about 5 days before the Capital One Cup final. Team ends up losing that with me out. Cool. Then I see on the calendar that my next FA Cup match is right near the end of the window for my injury recovery and I'm simming to get there and sure enough... not cleared. Team actually tied to force a replay vs. Chelsea so I was like OK... hopefully I'm clear for the replay. Nope. Just... nope. Team lost 2-1 in extra time. So the 2nd injury in the 1st year of my career resulted in me being knocked out of the two tournaments you play throughout a year. Just fucking stupid. I've played through multiple seasons in NBA 2k14 and 2k15 and have yet to have anything other than a minor injury that was scripted into the career mode that they give you the option to play through or not so this was pretty lame. I played another game or two once I was finally cleared and was just slide tackling everyone. Got a red card in a qualifier with the Irish team. Didn't even care. I was out there to hurt people at that point.
The game is fucking hectic in the middle of maps....play slowly and learn the maps before you sprint into the middle of the action. You will feel like you are getting killed from all angles until you know where to hide etc. Basically check your corners....video game style.
All I do is snipe. R700 and the AMW. If you want an assault weapon, I like the AK 74, but I also haven't unlocked many other assault rifles
M4, M16, P90 Can't remember the rest....probably for a good reason. The battle rifles (basically heavy machine guns) are decent once you can get enough attachments on them to calm the crazy ass recoil down. They are horrible to begin with.
alright played a couple of games and did pretty well. so basically im trying to build my bankroll up so i can buy better weapons?
Yep. Also, attention all BF: H fans, to get the wolf and dino masks you need to have 10 million dollars in the your bank account at one time. That's the challenge I am going for but its going to take forever. Currently approaching 1 million though
Did you play it after the servers etc. were fixed? I think I liked it more than BF3 once the game was fixed. Hardline is fun but its a different type of BF. Its not military and that makes a big difference in my opinion. Honestly, I'm a BF homer so you should get a response from someone more objective for a better answer
Don't know if I played after the servers. I got the game when it came out and could never get into it. I just didn't like the gameplay. It felt like they tried to combine CoD and BF. BF3 was awesome. Damavand Peak on Rush was IMO the best map I've ever played. I would consistently go 40ish kills to 10 deaths on it.
I don't believe the wife and I are going out tonight so if anyone wants to play tonight let me know. I'm down to play whatever.
Getting on BF:H for an hour or two if people wanna join up..... I'll be happy to tudor you....and by tudor, I mean tell you how good I am doing and that you should do equally as well
#TeamSnipe Haven't played hardline but I've only ever sniped in the other BF's. Used to do work covering BlazingRebel
Sorry I'm asking so many questions.... But sniper bros what secondary weapon and equipment do yall use?
I don't know why but I'm just not good with the sniping in Hardline. What pisses me off most is seeing guys run around with the semi auto snipers and using them as a shotgun in close combat.
