Yes. They are. The way they're structured is cool too. I like the attacking forces ideas. They should expand on that. They need new ops doe. Also the air maps suck. Because I can't fly to save my life. Btw they apparently nerfed the horse some. I only know this because some of the top cav guys messaged me to sign some silly petition lol.
I love every "air assault" type of gameplay in every game. Same reason I love the starfighter assault shit in Battlefront 2. Played more in planes in the last two days than I think I ever did in the normal game. Either way, I've come back to BF1 a couple times and I think its become a classic. They really did a good job of fine tuning that game as its progressed. Also, I forgot that I believe Skate 4 will be at E3 as well .

It really just depends what type of games you are playing and how serious you want to be. You ultimately want a TV with low input lag which is why a lot of people play on monitors. If you aren't playing a lot of FPS it probably doesn't matter.
They said they are deliberately going to throttle performance at times to simulate outages. In the last test I couldn’t connect for about 30 minutes, but other than that it ran smooth.
I figured that was the case. Yeah, we just had trouble connecting and starting a game. Once it was started, it ran well.
Played both. Depends what type of game you like. IMO gameplay on PUBG blows away Fortnite, but I also enjoy more realistic shooters than the cartoonish aspects of Fortnite. On the flip side Fortnite blows away PUBG right now in terms of the game engine/smoothness etc. with all the bugs. Probably comes down to what type of game you like and what your friends play that you can squad up on (each one is way better with a group). For me personally I started with Fornite thinking it was fun then played PUBG and since I switched haven't played 1 game of Fortnite nor have a desire to
Same for me, though the latest fortnite update got me to fire it back up for a couple games. The 60 FPS is pretty awesome in fortnite, especially compared to PUBG’s 15ish fps. Blue Hole’s community engagement with Xbox cusmtomers is terrible though. They’ve gone weeks without a word on when we can expect the next update. The last patch was 3 weeks ago and all it contained were fixes for bugs that the previous pacth created.
I had paused the Fortnite update but might have to test that out now. If PUBG was running at 60 and could iron out the bugs it would be such a damn good game. Regarding the next patch, they posted this 3 days ago: Spoiler but it basically just says in a "few weeks" and gives no details on what the patch will entail. Overwatch/Blizzard really changed my expectations for dev updates and communication, just excel at that and puts others to shame.
Rise of the Tomb Raider now on game pass. Played the first one enjoyed it, looking forward to giving this one a shot. If you’re an Xbox owner, you really should have game pass, it’s great.
Looks like Xbox lost their patience and sent over a team to blue hole to get things moving. Xboxnico started doing the updates on reddit and the existing blue hole team there disappeared. Patch 9 came out a week after that and people are saying it’s been a huge fix. Can’t wait to try it out.
yeah I downloaded it earlier but haven't fired up yet. The release notes sounded like it had a lot of improvements.
I played a round earlier. FPS is way better. Some dips but nothing drastic. Footsteps are extremely loud. Biggest problem is that the revives are bugged now. If you start the revive and leave your teammate, the revive will still happen.
yeah I saw that on reddit earlier. That's going to have to be a quick fix and no idea how they could miss something like that during validation.
Especially with how they stressed that any minute thing could delay the patch. Oh well, it’s just actually feels like a playable game now. I stopped playing the last ten days because of the performance. I love dropping in hot, and I couldn’t even go to the school because everyone who had a One X there already had the building rendered before me. That combined with the flip of a coin CQB just tired me out. I’m back on board after this update.
Played a solo round of PUBG on the new patch. I'm on the Xbox One X and it seems a little bit better? Houses and buildings are rendering even faster (like all buildings in a town will be done while I'm parachuting). I believe the FPS never dipped but I didn't get into "big" gun fights. Ended up getting top 10 and then getting ghosted by a silenced M4 and I still don't know where it came from.....so its normal PUBG to me.
Anyone been really disappointed in the Xbox Games with Gold in the last like year? A meaningful game hasn't come out for free in forever.
do we have enough people to set up a tmb PUBG squad war tournament? feel like that could be a lot of fun
I think you can do as many as you want up to 100. edit: nevermind. custom matches haven't been released to the public yet. just certain people
I’ve been eating chicken dinners since the update. Spoiler though I have no proof of that as the stats aren’t saving
