You can get sliced in the sandwich. Maybe it's not sauced as much? I loved it, and I am NOT a fan of much sauce on smoked meats. I can see the risk of mixing too much sauce in with the chopped. I've only had the chopped in a breakfast burrito and they don't sauce that.
Midwestern gas station power rankings: QuikTrip is the best overall gas station Kwik Star/Kwik Trip is becoming a solid second Kum and Go, while lacking in great hot/fresh food, is a better overall store than Casey’s. Casey’s is 4th. It has solid hot food options, but it’s all very ok and rarely very good. HyVee’s fast and fresh markets are a much better overall store concept than most of these. Lack of full size locations and overpriced and bland fresh/hot food options keep this great store at 5. HyVee Gas without the fast and fresh markets suck.
One time I flew to Atlanta to help my uncle put some furniture in a uhaul and drive it to Florida. There was a buc-ees on the way and he’d never been and let me tell you, 60 something white males really dig this concept.
The pulled pork sandwhiches at Bucees aren't worth the price. They're like $9 for a good pulled pork. They're chocolate section is awesome though. I love peanut clusters and they had several kinds to choose from which was awesome.
If you could read you would have been able to see the label on the row of sandwiches where you grabbed yours from that said "chopped" The row right next to it said "sliced" and the sliced has significantly less sauce The next row says "sliced turkey" and is also a damn fine sandwich Did you get some jerkey, roasted nuts, beaver nuggets and take a shit while you were there? If not you definitely didn't do bucees right
I forgot last place: git n’ go. Orange price stickers, manual price entry, and every location is basically on a monthly robbery rotation.
Buc-ee's has fantastic frozen chicken. They debone the chicken and fill it with different things (shrimp jambalaya, jalapeño cornbread, etc). Fantastic
I stopped at Buc-ee's for the first time the Saturday after Thanksgiving and holy fuck that was a terrible decision. They had someone literally directing traffic in and out of the bathrooms. Fuck all that, I'll just go pee on a tree.
I believe they are actually made by la boucherie out of Houston They are available under the la boucherie name at HEB and are sold under a wide variety of labels at a lot of meat markets and Cajun food markets
Opened a few weeks ago. Comes off of I-65 but the road it is on off the interstate is also having road work done on it to expand the lanes. It's rough
there’s an HEB in lakeway, TX that I regret not using as my wedding venue. Haven’t ruled out having my next kid baptized there
Quick Trip: best roller dogs and quickest cashiers Casey’s: breakfast pizza is solid, didn’t want to like it but I did Wawa: good coffee, deli sandwiches are very solid Sheetz: meatball sub is decent, everything else sucks I do a lot of domestic travel
