A Washington woman has been arrested for alleged criminal sexual assault of a victim who is a minor. Hayley Reneau, 23, of Washington was arrested Monday (Aug. 5), according to a release from the Washington Police Department. The charge is a class 1 felony. “The charge alleges that Reneau held a position of trust, authority, or supervision in relation to the victim, and the victim is at least 13 years of age but under 18 years of age,” the release said.
I knew a guy whose wife lured some of her under-18 students back to their house with alcohol to allegedly try to fuck them. She was somehow unsuccessful with the sex part despite being quite attractive. They never found evidence other than he said type stuff to support bringing any charges on that. They divorced pretty soon after that.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think the age of consent for sex should be 16 across the board. Ruining a 23 year old’s life for banging a 17 year old is just wrong to me. Put her on the child maltreatment list, take away her teaching license, etc but don’t throw her in prison or make her a felon. Less than 16 is fair game. Prison or whatever. Idk what the specifics of this case are. That just popped into my head.

I thought those age gap type rules did not apply to people in positions of power, like teachers. Some 23 year old schmo can bang a 16 year old in most states....I think, but if that 23 year old schmo is the 16 year old kids teacher, it's illegal.
She shouldn’t go to jail. She should lose her job. Again I think there are levels. For the most part adults shouldn’t fuck kids. But, a 19 year old fucking a 16-17 year old shouldn’t be seen the same way as a 40 year old fucking a 13 year old. Can’t believe that’s a controversial opinion. That said a teacher should never fuck a student. Some should be locked up some just fired.

Probably not feasible but it would probably be best to not have teachers under like 30 in high schools. Have the 23 yr olds teach 2nd grade to start with and move up with age. Put 23 yr olds around 17 yr olds and is this shit is bound to happen. Not saying its right but it's going to happen.

As someone else said, even in states where 16 is the legal age of consent, being in a position of power of said minor is still against the law. It’s never okay for a teacher to fuck his/her student
Had a buddy go to jail(not sure if he was on a list, iirc I think he was) for being an 18 year old senior fucking a 15-16 year old. Virginia also makes strippers wear pasties and doesn't serve liquor at the driving range or strip clubs.

Not to give him any credit here but I took that as more of instead of having state specific age of consent laws there’s just a nationwide age of consent
No buying beer past 12, no liquor past 9. For most my life, no liquor sales at all on Sunday, changed a while ago. Last call is typically 1. I'm old and don't care for these things anymore but terrible state for your 20s.
Yea A good buddy of mine (granted a male who got semi into body building in college) went through school to be a coach He got to the student teaching part and wound up doing a stent at a local high school, where he said it was basically like a high school kids dream of fighting off the hottest girls in school coming at him as hard as they could, and they were only like 3 years younger than him He said he knew there was no way he could survive that environment for long enough to age out of that attraction He has now had a long career as a physical therapist for the elderly
