If you had to live for an extended period of time sleeping without one of these, which would it be - a blanket, a mattress, or a pillow? Some assumptions to make this interesting… - No blanket = no covering whatsoever. No sheet, clothing (other than what you normally wear to sleep), etc. - No mattress = lying on a hard surface (ie. hard wood, concrete, etc) with just a sheet covering it for comfort - No pillow = your head is resting directly on the mattress. No propping your head up with any object whatsoever
All these no blanket idiots just don’t get it. The blanket is a Swiss Army knife in this scenario. The pillow is a garlic press.
With a bad back, I would literally not be able to function if in were forced to sleep without a mattress or pillow. No blanket would suck, but it’s the only one I can survive without
This poll is dumb af. I'm getting blanket and mattress and I'm using something for a pillow. Rolled up clothes work if nothing else
I’ll take two blankets and trade one to one of you freezing your ass off for your mattress AND pillow.
There are nights where I get hot and kick off my comforter and top sheet. I never eschew my pillow or mattress.
This will actually injure you over time and cause health problems. It's something people who get drunk and pass out on floors deal with :/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhabdomyolysis
No pillow. I sleep on my stomach and barely use the corner of a pillow on top of my arm anyways so I could easily go without one.
All the posters saying no pillow have clearly never bought a My Pillow. Mike knows how to make them, folks. Sad!
I may or may not have posted this thread while trying to sleep in a hospital chair, so you can take this thread as an airing of grievances of sorts.
