That being said, can we stop sac bunting when unreliable hitters are due up next? Bunting Isbel for India/Bob - yes. Bunting Fermin for Waters/Isbel - no. Also, Freddy is not a very good bunter. And bunting with 2 strikes is moronic.

Why did it take 12 innings to score 3 runs? Balls bouncing their way to home being called strikes probably helped a bit.

Cole might just not have it mentally. He stops pitching with conviction so quickly when hits start to happen

 

He’s given up 5 of 7 hits with two strikes and the walk that scored too. Idk if he doesn’t have a “this is my groundout pitch” but he needs one asap

 

Yep. First time I remember it this year but he’s had that MO since getting here. A bad call or an error and he just gives up.
