Damn. Such a tough read for Maikel. Really cool Bob got rung up after 5 straight balls (he did swing at 2 of them)
And again, screaming into the void, beating a dead horse, but challenges are free, go out and scream that the ball wasn’t still moving and not secured in the glove till his foot was off the bag. There’s a 1 in 100 chance they actually see something but not doing anything is a 0 out of 100.
No clue how, considering we haven’t won in a month, but Estevez still leads the league in saves (3 way tie at 22).
McDowell had an article this morning talking about no teams watch more first pitch meatballs than us yet we lead the league in chasing pitches out of the zone.
Would love to see the breakdown of pitches thrown with 0 outs, 1 out, 2 outs. Wouldn’t surprise me if we threw a significant amount more with 2 outs than the others combined.
What’s infuriating is that the potential for a hit and run offense is there but they’re too dumb and inconsistent to make it happen regularly
Don’t wanna be too reactionary but does Jac need to go down to tee off again, get some confidence back? I know the pitching quality is obviously much different but he looks lost All this said if he’s not gonna get a new hitting coach
As is Bob and India. If Q told the three of them to get 9 hits every night we’d win a lot more games.
Rolling the dice on this offense to produce enough to snag a WC is just feasibly idiotic so well done it. But we should thank Lugo for his service and get some young outfield bats
I love how we hang pitches and they get wrecked and when they hang pitches we’re incapable keeping them at under a 40 degree angle
