Don't even ask about the wealth of RBs...I'm going to probably make a trade for hopefully an elite WR. Taking a back up TE, D, or K when Mendenhall was still on the board just didn't make sense to me. He was my last pick. Not in love with my WRs or QB really. Morgan could be a big sleeper, and Walter plays in a high powered O, and he gets a lot of red zone targets. Carlson is also going to have a big role in Seattle's offense list year, following a strong rookie season. McNabb has a lot of weapons, but he's injury prone. Cassel is injured, but I don't think he's going to be a 1 year wonder like some do. Starters QB: McNabb RB: Matt Forte RB: Frank Gore WR: Greg Jennings WR: Lee Evans TE: John Carlson K: Kris Brown D: Tenn Backups QB: Matt Cassel RB: Darren McFadden RB: Lendale White RB: Rashard Mendenhall WR: Kevin Walter WR: Josh Morgan
We pick next at 46. I'm thinking either QB, or best WR...I like Vincent Jackson if he's still there. The top QBs went off the board early though, so we might go QB, despite the fact that we only wanted to take one in the 5th round.
Not sure if anyone will see this in time to help me, but oh well... McNabb, Palmer, Ryan, and Schaub are still there. Welker and Vincent Jackson are also still around.
Moore and Walter. I'm trying to find out the rest. Not sure if Rice is around, but even if he is, we've already got enough RBs.
Looks good to me..especially in a 2 WR league. I'd try to flip McFadden and Kevin Walter into an upgraded WR. One you're comfortable enough with to have starting with Lee Evans as your 3rd guy. Or flip Gore for an elite WR if you can bear the pain of waiting to see who emerges between McFadden, Mendenhall, and White? Or flip Gore + Walter for an elite WR + another decent RB to improve your chances.
Aight man, thanks. I'm feeling good about the RBs, but ya those WRs are a little suspect since Evans isn't all that consistent. It'll be interesting to see what happens with TO up there. Jennings is another good 2. I def have some trade flexibility.
Jennings will have a studly season, not worried about him at all..and I think Evans is fine...you just need to have 3 so you can rotate a bit on matchups.
Yep, that's a good point. You think I should try to get a stronger 3rd guy before the season kicks off, or should I give it a week or two to see if any of the guys on my roster improve their stock and raise their trade value?
