Man this show really has no boundaries. So I assume Lindsay and Edgar are getting married or something and that's why she said what she said to Gretchen about him coming? I'm I crazy for thinking that if Jimmy had just told Gretchen about the florist right after it happened without the fuck week stuff she wouldn't have been pissed? Just seems out of character for her to have been mad about that considering how much shit she think is funny or no big deal. Then again she is nuts so I guess nothing is really out of character for her.
Gretchen reminds me of an ex I had a few years ago. You really don’t know if you are walking into sunshine or a hurricane with her. This episode almost seems like a complete throwback to season 2. I don’t know if she would have been happy or annoyed by the florist head game. But Jimmy certainly didn’t go about it the right way.
I have absolutely no idea what is coming with this show, and that’s one of the reasons it’s so fantastic. I still think the writers are too smart for the flash forwards to actually be what they want us to think. With that said, Gretchen is certainly self destructing again.
I'd be interested to know what they paid the FCC this season for their liberal use of "fuck" every episode. It's definitely a lot more fitting for these characters

Vernon is an incredible character and will be sorely missed. I like them giving these side characters their final stories before we wrap up.
I lost it when they did the Handmaid's Tale thing. Also when that kid made fun of him at the table "At least I dont have my tiny dick hangout out of my shorts... haha got ya!"
I couldnt believe what I was watching. That was nuts. Also Vernon is getting all the best lines this season. "There's a little baby growin in there. Can you believe it's not cum anymore?!!?"
That final scene with Edgar & Jimmy was a gut punch after a good time. Which is on par with this entire series.

Jimmy's comment about going with Gretchen to Mexico made me less scared about the finale. And Gretchen's 'maybe I don't drink' comment about the future tied into those flashforwards. I'm going to be such a wimp when the finale happens.
When Becca was lying in Vernon's lap while Paul was banging her. That's how they do it in the handmaid's tale. The handmaid lies in the wife's lap, while the husband has sex/rapes her. It's really ritualist, dark, gross, sad ect, yet this show found a way to spoof it and make a joke out of it. lol.

Gotta say that the last episode was one of my favorites of the entire series, and definitely of this season. Also agree with all the love for Vernon - he gets a lot of the best lines. I'm oscillating between dread and slight optimism for these final episodes.
Man how will everyone feel if this isn't a swerve and they actually don't end together. I mean considering this show I can no longer put it out of the realm of possibility

Well this is not trending in a good direction. My only hope at this point is this is some book/movie retelling of a story Jimmy wrote and not real life in the flash forwards.

It's kind of funny how this group needs Edgar more than Edgar needs them now. He's the most mature and balanced individual of the series. IDK if we'll get a happy ending. But I do have a theory that Jimmy's movie may play homage to Gretchen or the group in some way.
"Lesbian minstrel show" DESTROYED me. Ton of funny moments in last week's episode. Was laughing out loud a ton.
Might be my favorite episode they've done. It was important for Jimmy to finally admit how shitty he has been to Edgar and Gretch and her mom was so fucking sad. I hate that its ending but seems like they are ending it right where it should. Next week is going to be rough.
Just a heads up, the series finale will be one hour long. Oh and the last two minutes of this episode had me on the verge of tears.
