@vulture: Why I tackled mental illness this season on @YTWFXX, by @stephenfalk: http://vult.re/1IYaKmF http://twitter.com/vulture/status/675110532530225153/photo/1
weird. like i said, i heard "dead" the first time. then as he was walking up the stairs, i swore he said "gay"
Born Dead was the title of the 3rd episode of the year. " But then Vernon tops Jimmy entirely by revealing that he was born dead for 15 minutes, but then miraculously came back to life. It’s that traumatic beginning that allows Vernon to believe that everyone’s born dead and that the only way to be alive is through other people. "
Loved it. Not sure I like Paul and Lindsay story picking up again although the Don't Know Much duet was great.
Lol it makes sense, but I even went back and rewatched it like 3 times before I posted to make sure that's what I heard. When he's going up the stairs I still hear gay haha.
Phenomenal episode. This season was tough to watch at times, not because it wasn't good, but because it went into such a dark place and away from comedy. But in the end I think it was worth it. This episode hit all the right buttons, and the last line "I love you too" was so great. Love this show so much.
he definitely says he regrets being born dead going up the stairs, but it sounds like he's saying gay both times he says it because of the inflection in his voice. especially if you're watching it listening for the word gay it will sound like gay if that makes any sense. Anyway I love him telling everyone "to not go see the babadook whatever you do", was great.
I did appreciate them snapping back to the "normal" Jimmy and Gretchen, where all of it could have been prevented if she took medicine.
I thought it was "a bobo" since she would have said "an abobo" not "a bobo." Either way, I've been saying regularly around the house

god the pillow fort scene got all of my feels out the last couple episodes of season two are just truly the best
I was just thinking, Becca's baby has to have autism or something right? They seemed to be setting it up with the drinking and anti-vax stuff.
Normally, I wouldn't even consider it a possibility with a comedy, but this show is incredible in how it breaks tropes and confronts real issues along with its humor. I could definitely see this being an ongoing storyline next season.
I never post on the TV board for some reason but wanted to chime in with how fucking much I love this show Spoiler THIS MUCH <--------------------------------->
well you can watch and have moments of happiness and joy with some depression. or you can not watch and miss out on those moments of joy and happiness...
Everyone sing along Sunday funday. Better than a Monday. Can only do it one way. And that is the drunk way
Gretchen may had her first big meltdown during the mouse ep with everyone at the house. First: But second: All of you sucking the air with your made up problems! Except you Vernon, you have real problems. You're married to Becca Ha! Vernon! Ya burnt!
