I don't think they would go that dark or get rid of one of the main characters. It would take a lot away from the show for Edgar to be gone. That was a dark episode, but very very good.
Just watched. That was an incredible episode. It was such a departure from what the show usually is, but they nailed it. I'm glad they are making Edgar's PTSD real instead of just a punch line, but it has me worried for him.
I loved that it wasn't just a random day in his life. The fact that we had already seen this from another perspective added so much weight to his whole struggle.
It was an amazing look into what it (assuming here) feels like to be in that scenario. The episode in the previous week just showed how carefree and normal (for lack of a better word) Jimmy and Gretchen get along and you could tell Edgar was having problems. Retracing the episode through his eyes was just fantastic writing
I got legitimately nervous when he stood up through his sunroof. Then they showed he was still on the tow truck and I felt like a fool.
Really enjoyed that episode. Laughed pretty hard at a few different parts and it was good to see some resolve for Edgar I think I laughed the hardest when Lindsay told Paul she wanted to bone other guys and Gretchen just started saying "no" repeatedly and ran off
Think that was probably the most overtly hilarious episode in a while. There were undertones of the sadness for sure, but from the get go, that was hilarious. Great ep
Smart to put that after the heavy Edgar episode last week. I really want a thing like that to exist in real life.
Would be pretty sweet and I don't even drink (significant history of alcoholism in my family that has wrecked many lives so I just abstain)
Need Lindsay to have one of those scenes like Gretchen did to open the season. Those tits are special.
That gas station they stopped at was used in another tv show or movie. I can't put my finger on it though.
When I realized it was just going to be vernon and paul, I was a bit disappointed, but I laughed my ass of the entire ep
That was a ballsy episode to make. Cutting the entire cast but your like 6th and 7th leads for an entire ep is crazy. Even crazier is how good it was. It was legit hilarious and created more rounded characters for them both. I love Vernon for licking random things and pretending to wash his hands at the hospital. Not looking forward to Paul finding out Lindsay aborted his kid.
