Boy. His is a career in complete freefall. And with plenty of precedent, reasonable to have concern it's effectively over altogether. Fat dudes with non-healing foot injuries don't exactly find some later career renaissance. So no, a foot injury doesn't change his rookie year stat line, but I'd wager heavily (lol) he never averages double digits again

Well that's a hell of a write off. He put up 25+ a game pretty easily as a raw 20 year old on a bad team. You are basically suggesting that he will retire soon because if he plays at all, averaging 10 ppg will not be hard for a guy as talented and naturally gifted as him.
