Ended up drinking a lot of Trillium beers (spec. Launch Beer, Citra Dry Hopped Sunshine "Super" saison, Dry Hopped Melcher Street IPA, etc.) but the night's best pour was a 2013 Goose Island Bourbon County Backyard Rye paired with some chocolate treats.
This is Bourbon County, this is Bourbon County a bit closer, this is Bourbon County as close as you can get without your eyes getting wet.
Westbrook's BA 4th Anniversary is pretty fantastic. I wasn't a big fan of the regular version but the barrel did wonders for it
I wish I knew how to paint. I would do a scene of a cunty bottle of beer next to a perfectly matched piece of glassware situated upon a fine granite countertop. A modern day still life
Still like this beer, but it's amazing how "Midwest" it tastes compared to the stuff coming out of the northeast / west coast. Nice dankness though, that really shines through.
Not trying to get political ITT, but Obama stopped at Jolly Pumpkin While in Detroit, which is pretty cool.
many apologies if already discussed but this seems pretty cool if you're a resident of charlotte/raleigh. probably will expand http://www.brewpublik.com/#home basically a monthly beer delivery catered to your tastes based upon a profile
Tried to use it the first week or so and found out I'm too far outside the city limits of Charlotte. Need to see if they changed their delivery zone though.
Yeah, it's funny because I'm on that map. Just to the right of "Ft Mill" right over the border in NC. But my zip, 28173, isn't listed. Sucks.
i do but i like drinking and am a massive hypocrite should come get beers with me and CoastalOrange saturday morning
I will do that some time. Want to actually hit Good Bottle on one of their Sat AM openings, then watch some EPL
Plenty of good beers on draft at Hooligans. Though I'm not entirely sure why Tobias is in the Good Beer thread when he prefers ciders.
you order mike's hard lemonade at hooligans Hugo Boss remember how pissed he was when the bartender told him they dont have mike's hard on tap
When I heard they were canning this year (which all craft brews should, besides bombers) I was kind of hoping they would be pounders like Two Hearted.
You in Portland? Edit: Realize your blurb says this, so nevermind hah. Glad this is getting broader exposure now that they can actually make enough to fulfill more than the towns demand for it. Sent two for my SS gift. Strong, strong brewery.
