Keep up the good work tomorrow, lads. Rom should get a fair amount of chances vs. that ramshackle backline.
It seems like the only time Roberto doesn't make 3 offensive changes is when we are losing and need them to be made.
He's said hes wanted Champions League football. I doubt you see him at Byern or United but probably Italy or PSG
PSG seems to tick every box in regards to Rom's likely destination (It would be soul crushing for me if he went to any other team team in England.) Zlatan is already out the door and Cavani is surprisingly old and I don't think anyone would be shocked if he wanted out if PSG bring in Lukaku. As good as he is, I could see him wanting to go back to being a teams top goal scoring threat like he was at Napoli. A Lukaku-Cavani swap + lots of money coming our way is my extremely unrealistic wish on how I'd like the situation to play out. I get the feeling our search for a decent replacement will be quite the humbling experience. Like getting turned down by Berahino bad. Can any of you think of a realistic replacement that is at least slightly exciting?
He'll probably want to go back to Italy and Juve would make a lot of sense. Mario Mandzuckich is almost certainly leaving Juve after the season and he's a gettable player for us that is more than capable of getting double digit goals in a season. It would also make sense for us to at least inquire about Chicharito. I'm not so sure I want Everton to become Mexcio's favorite team but on the brightside his transfer fee would practically pay for itself with all the jerseys he'd sell. I think I read somewhere that his Leverkussen jersey has been one of if not the most sold jersey on the planet since his move. Let's just hope they are noble and buy from the club shop instead of China (doubt it)
I really wish we'd try what Spurs did with Dier with John Stones. He likes to be on the ball but makes way too many mistakes to be in the back 4. He did that for England last week and it ended up forcing a Danny Rose handball penalty. He's probably on the fringe for getting a Euro's roster call up now but I think his ability to be a backup Fullback will probably make Hodgson pick him.
