Year 4 of the Brighton and Hove Albion train in FM 16.

Won championship in year 1, 7th in the prem in year 2, won euro cup in year 3, and the prem in year 4.

Bought Goreztka for cheap as hell in year 2 only to lose him to a buyout clause that i had to put in to sign him, same with wonderkid Andre Cubas that year. Current lineup

    -------------Zack Clough---------------
    Lincoln----------Ante Coric---Felix Passlack
    -----Youri Tielemans--R. Bentancur------
    Willems (loan)- Sule-Emerson--Rick Karsdorp
    --------Predragg Rajkovick---------------

Team is young as hell. Lincoln scored EPL goals in year 3 and 15 in year 4. Clough scored 40(!!!) in year 4. Most were bought for fairly cheap. EPL money gets out of fucking control, was given like 170m in year 3.

Two days after winning the first match of the season, one of my piece of shit wonderkids handed in a transfer request.

Ungrateful fuck. When I found him at 17, he'd just been released by a fucking semi-professional club in Italy.

    CANT WAIT

Also, for those asking about full v. mobile -

I've purchased the mobile version in past years, and after playing the full version it's just not enough for me honestly. I can't stand watching the game with dots moving on a screen. Also the layout and getting to certain pages can get frustrating.

If you don't get on a desktop/laptop ever, mobile is serviceable. But if you can get the full version, do it :twocents:

Finished 7th again this season, which I thought would get me into the Europa league playoff. List that under dumb things MA thinks. The runner-up in the German Cup gets that spot, a rule which no longer exists in real life, but was still in place when FM 14 came out. Was a terrible realization to find that out. On the plus side, one of the players I made that promise to allowed me to re-sign them during the season. Doesn't look like that's going to happen with the other one.

Gotta find some answers on defense in the upcoming transfer window. My two central defenders who play for U21 Germany just aren't panning out. Also struggling to get consistent play out of my CAMs and LMs. The Board here continues to be amazing though. So far in my tenure they've approved Youth/Training facility upgrades three seasons in a row (they're now rated as Superb) and a stadium expansion. During the season I was able to get them to approve a fourth round of Youth/Training facility upgrades, as well as getting a brand new stadium built.

Decided to play as MK Dons instead. Only had a $700k transfer budget, not much to try an sell, shit youth teams, U21 squad doesn't even play in a league. Anyways I started off with 3 wins and now through 9 games I am in 8th with 13 points. Three out of the last four games I've had a defender sent off with a red on an already thin backline and they all have been suspended an additional 2 games :killme:

Finished season 1 with Newcastle. Finished 14th, grinded through the season the same way the real life version has. Had to sell Krul week 1 after he forced a move. Got 25mil from Chelsea and he didn't play once. Signed Felipe Gutierez for 5.5mil and he was real good for me.

About to start season 2, and I have had probably my most ridiculous offseason in my FM life. Ayoze Perez bitched his way through year 1 about a move, but never could get an valuable offer. Here's a quick run down

IN: Callum Wilson- 12.5, Leroy Sane- 16, Brandon Mechele- 4, Matthew Ryan- 9.5, Hidde ter Avest- 8, Kenny Tete- 9
    OUT: Cisse- 3.5, Riviere- 1.8, Gouffran- 1.2, Cabella- 22.5, Perez- 24, de Jong- 9, Thauvin- 4, Janmaat- 21

Net spend is still of -31mil, and I went into the summer with ~50 to spend.

In the offseason of my second season with MK Dons and finished 11th while I was predicted to be relegated. My transfer budget is pretty weak and all of the guys I am trying to sell aren't getting offers. I keep on lowering their prices which has been frustrating and still haven't sold some. Guess I will need to try and sell them on frees and get their contracts off my books.

Ned Yocho I signed Shane Ferguson on a free and he looks like he will be a good wing in my system (only difference is I usually play a DLP for one of the BWM's) which I found online which is:

Does the Belgian second division play in the same crazy format as their first division? I'd be on the lookout for any younger brothers of current Belgian stars right now. Thorgan Hazard and Jordan Lukaku are turning into pretty decent players.

Their first division in a way is similar to the way American sports do it but instead of seeding, it's a points gap between the teams that make the playoffs. And it's never an impossible gap for the team that barely qualified to finish whoever ended the regular season in first like it is in Scotland. With the way things are trending, I think the Ligue 1 should experiment with it.

I started a new FM 2014 save last month with Hereford United in The Skrill Premier. In real life, the team went bankrupt in 2015 and local fans have started a semi-pro Phoenix Club. I won promotion in my third season and I just started my first year in League 2. Funny enough, my in-game chairman was a shithead and was replaced by a wealthy local fan. Go Cows.

It was close in the second season. Chairman wouldn't even relay the field it was so bad. I kept leaking that to the press. I got called into the office and told to keep my mouth shut. A month later he got sacked. Finishes as follows: 10th, 6th, 1st. I'm currently "Untouchable" and nervous about this first year in League 2.

Thanks. I had planned to make the jump in year three and things worked out real well. Team salary went from $1 mil to $2.5 mil with 8 starters cemented. Picked up 3 starters and 5 league ready prospects all with Championship level potential. Upgraded facilities across the board and I finally got to relay my field. Sponsorship income went from ~85k to nearly 800k. With that windfall and the resulting TV dollars, I'm turning The Cows into The Bulls. The plan is to shoot for promotion in another one or two years. Most of my starters are at low to mid League 2 CA. It's been a while since I've done this; at what level should I be setting up a Passport Feeder in Belgium? I'm thinking it should be once I hit The Championship.

Manager movement in this game is hilarious. Way too many changes in a short period of time. Best so far is a tie between Klinsmann getting sacked after Copa America and ending up in Italy at Verona with Wenger sacked mid 1st season to be replaced by Rafa.

So I finish the first season in the Belgian 2nd Division. Finished 4th. Half of the league got relegated to the 3rd division, 1 team got promoted to the top flight. Now the league is only 8 teams, and the rules are all fucked up. Says the 2nd place team in the 2nd division qualifies for the european playoff?
