The JC saga has been pretty fun this offseason. He got all uppity about some lower tier WR prospect instate once we showed interest in Ortre and wrote something about how a true "recruiting expert" like him could see the SEC measurables with this scrub and that your coaches were smart to move onto him while the getting was good. Then he wrote another piece like a week later letting everyone know that your staff has decided not to pursue this five heart player despite his own expert opinion. He is almost more entertaining to follow than your on the field product at this point, Citadel game aside.
Has Mark Bradley of the AJC ever said anything nice about the state of South Carolina. I believe he has taken shots at Clemson too. As a p.r. guy the dude comes off very unprofessional. In the bolded part, while our state doesn't put out the sheer raw numbers that Georgia does it still puts a shit load of quality players. Just look at NFL rosters.
What a complete jackass. Per capita South Carolina produces more NFL talent than most states, just has a smaller population.
That's my point. The state puts out a lot of talent compared to the population. It's like the dude doesn't even do his job.
Are you suggesting that getting trolled by the Citadel after losing to them in football isn't objectively funny?
And I have serious real estate in yours if we're being honest. You lost to the Citadel. In football. Not sure if you really understand the nature of the rivalry considering your FSU/Arkansas ties, but losing to the Citadel is kind of a big deal. If you're a Clemson or South Carolina fan and the other program doesn't occupy some real estate in your head, then you're doing this rivalry wrong. Please commence with whatever above the fray bullshit 3-9 teams who lose to the Citadel and hire Muschamplol and recruit MAC-level players while watching their rivals challenge for national titles employ...
It feels really good living out in Colorado and not having to deal with Clemson fans like DMX and tboon anymore.
Holy fuck at these basketball commits. Can we just skip right over football season this year? Three 6'9 guys, a 6'10 guy and a 7' guy with another 7 footer committed for next year
Done deal from what I heard. He gets to do football there so that's the motivation. Fine by me, never really warmed up to him. Hearing Brad Muller for replacement who seems more likeable than Andy from what I've heard
Well yeah but they're not talking about promoting a talk show personality to team play by play guy here Although it would be typical USC if tomorrow they announced they were making Benji Norton voice of everything
I think I held the fact he wasn't Mike Morgan against him for sure but to me he always came across like a pencil neck geek that didn't really belong calling sports. And I say that as a non athletic geek so I'm not trying to be hypocritical. I just never really got into him
Helping with move in day today. There's two groups on campus for early move in: people doing rush and people coming for some science/chemistry boot camp. Quite the interesting mix. Shockingly you can usually guess which group they're in by appearance
I think I only helped one dude all morning. This motherfucker rolled in with a large box of hamburger patties to keep in his freezer like Randy from Trailer Park Boys
Supposedly the Athletics Dept has produced a five part "miniseries" called Muschamp and will be premiering it on Facebook Live tonight, with the episodes put on gamecocksonline after that. Has like behind the scenes stuff from signing day and spring practice and such, should be pretty interesting
