You're #1 pick, Heisman front runner didn't initially beat out fucking Cole Stoudt. And Watson enrolled early (getting to go through spring practice) while Bentley has been on campus for two months.

It's not ludicrous to think another highly touted, highly skilled freshman could be pretty good. Now I'm in wait and see mode, but the dude seems as advertised so far.

 

Watson had a broken collarbone in the spring and was starting out on the road versus UGA and FSU, not fucking Vandy. Stoudt turned out to be light years worse than Deshaun obv, but he wasn't a fucking walk-on that was bagging groceries before losing to Citadel and going 3-9 the previous year.

Please explain exactly how he seems "as advertised" so far. Are you talking JC's advertisements here? Because this is the same dude that spent the entire offseason last year advertising Jon fucking Hoke before breaking out the kneepads for Bentley and the greatest coaching staff ever assembled by a failed head coach that nobody else wanted.

When you're comparing Bentley to Deshaun Watson, you're going to find yourself in oppositeland a whole lot. Pointing out facts and providing proper context don't constitute circularity. You don't usually respond because you're 7-6 and 3-9 the last two years while losing to the likes of the Citadel and hiring Will Muschamp, so there's not really a ton you can rebut from the confines of your dumpster fire when I occasionally enter this thread to have a laugh.

6-6 - starting 22 won't be bad. Depth and injuries will determine our record.

 

4-8 I could see anything from 2-10 to 7-5 but a lot would have to go our way for anything better than 4-8

 

With the way our schedule sets up, 2 wins in each month would be a nice goal.

 

5-7 because I hate predicting losses to Vandy and UK; even though it seems very possible.

 

I'm going to be honest, this season is going to suck something fierce. I'm just hoping Clemson trips up along the way.
